Role Play Script: Multifunction Frying Pan

Chapter 1
In a small and cozy apartment, there are two young girls sitting silently in the living
room with their fingers tapping the keyboard as they are busy handling their
assignments. They have to hand in three (3) assignments within one week.

Quratul : Do you feel what I feel, Mel? I am extremely hungry now.

Mel : For your information, my stomach has been singing since we haven’t
take breakfast until now.
Quratul : Hm… let’s jump into the nearest conclusion we could take which
is…foodpanda?
Mel : Foodpanda all day, make me bored anyway! Aaa… How about having
maggi curry at this hour?
Quratul : But.. our kitchen is empty. We both know that we don’t have anything
to cook maggi curry.
Mel : How about using heater to cook our instant noodles?
Quratul : We can’t do that. It’s too dangerous to do.

Quratul shut down her laptop then continuing to play with her phone.

Mel : Wait… look at this advertisement! Giant Supermarket is having a

special promotion in conjunction with Independence Day. The
promotions are including household products, kitchenware and many
more.
Quratul : Wow, glad to hear that! So, what is our plan now?
Mel : I think we should go there while the promotion is still going on. The
supermarket is just a stone’s throw away from our home.

Quratul and Mel prepare themselves to go to the supermarket.

 Chapter 2
The promoters are busy giving away brochures while promoting their products.

Merni & Irsyad: Come here everyone! (x2) We’re having a great deal now!
Irsyad : There are variety of household products are on sales! Hurry up, come
here!
Merni : Grab yours while stocks last!!! Moreover, this special promotion only
valid until 31st August. Hurry up our lovely customers, I’m pretty sure you
won’t regret coming here!
Irsyad : Hello girls (waving at Quratul & Mel), please come over! Please take
a look at products that are on sale!
Merni : Hi miss, may I help you? Do you want to take a look at our products?
Mel : Yes, sure! We need you to choose what is the best product to cook
simple dishes within short period of time.

The promoters show different kind of products to Mel and Quratul such as heater, rice
cooker, iron and etc. They also explaining the prices that stated in the brochures.

Quratul : Wait, this one looks good and it fits our intention of coming over here.
We’re looking for a household product that can cook anything that we
want in a short period of time.
Mel : Are you sure about this product? I don’t think it can last long because
it looks very fragile.
Irsyad : Miss, this product is very safe and secure to use. There are 3 years
warranty for this product. You can look at these feedbacks given in our

because it is very light and easy to bring to anywhere we go.
Merni : I agree with Irsyad. For your information, this product recorded the

in our Giant’s Supermarket website!
Mel : Wow, it sounds good! I want to buy this product since the price is
cheaper now.
Quratul : That’s right Mel. We should buy this product.
Irsyad : Now, which colour do you want? Two colours are available now which
are peach and blue colours.
Merni : This peach colour is our last stock because most of our customers are
women, and they were attracted with this colour.
Mel : Ok, we will pick this colour Quratul. It looks elegant.
Quratul : Alright, Mel. It looks cute too in peach colour.
