Mechanical engineer in your company “XYZ” (applying in your University)

He has been actively involved in his student project and research performed under my supervision.

Most recently, Ashwin has worked on the project “Pressure vessel manufacturing”

In this role, he was exposed to various manufacturing technologies such as 3- axis , 5-axis CNC milling ,
High speed machining, Rotary ultrasonic machining of hard ceramic materials, Abrasive water jet
machining and Wire cut electric discharge machining etc. He was also introduced to heat treatment and
surface treatment and various non-destructive testing techniques. As a part of training, He has
conducted an experimental study on effect of machining parameters (cutting speed, feed rate etc) on
surface roughness in face milling of AA2014 aluminum alloy material under guidance and supervision of
Ravish Kumar at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Indian Space Research Organization, Thiruvanthapuram

Ashwin constantly seeks to learn more about anything he is exposed to. He is a quick learner and loved
