    The town of Labrador was
    created in the year 1754 and
    was headed by Captain Vi-
    cente Escano. Formerly, the
    Mt. San
    municipality was known as Isidro
    San Isidro Labrador de Tobu-
    ang. San Isidro Labrador de
    Tobuang was initially a joint
    municipality of Sual and Lab-
    rador. However, by virtue of
    Republic Act No. 2390 the
    San Isidro
    separation of the two towns

    was granted making them Church
    independent towns in 1939.
