9 Correction for CG (-1T, + 1 kt for all speed: TOF TOC 16 20
10 Check Structural Lt Wt, ATOW and find new speeds reqd
Decide on speeds to be used, if option available for either set of speed, otherwise use
11 MTOW speed
Note: Speed Corrections
Take-off speeds are corrected when there is either a change in aircraft weight or when
there is change in Rwy surface friction such as wet rwy.
Speed Check for MTOW Calculation
Check the minimum V1/VR/V2 due to VMC and V2 against VMU limitation only after
1 the second and the third speed correction on the Chart.

No speed check is required for the first correction. However, if the first correction
2 follows a conservative FCOM correction, a speed check is required.

If OAT > TVMC or if the speed check is not fulfilled, apply ΔW and ΔV1/ ΔVr/ ΔV2
3 corrections from line 3&4. No speed check is required after this.
At lower weight if the speeds are very low, go up the same column till the
4 temperature breaks. Take the speeds and subtract 1 kt/1000 kgs and use these
speeds. Check these speeds are greater than min speeds.

………… OAT……………….…< Tmax……………………
1
No GRAD correction for Flex TO (RWY not contaminated)

Correction for FCOM TOF TOD 24*check MSN

3 Subtract 1⁰C/3hpa (QNH<1013> QNH), 5⁰C for Eng anti icing on, 7 ⁰C for total anti
icing on, 3⁰C for air cond on. If the corrected temp is higher than OAT and Tref, then
take CT as Flex Temp otherwise Flex not possible.

WET correction
5 (OAT ≤ TVMC use line 1 &2)
(OAT ≥ TVMC use line 3 &4)
Check V2 higher than VMU (TOF-TOD-25 - 20) Px Alt = RW elev + (1013 ̰ diff

7
(OAT ≤ TVMC use line 1 &2)
(OAT ≥ TVMC use line 3 &4)
8 CG correction, for forward cg subtract 2⁰C, increase 1 kt (TOF TOC 20-10)

Note:

For a given runway and braking capability the speeds are directly linked to the take-
off weight. I case of QNH or bleed correction, the only affected item is engine
thrust. As the aircraft capability is not degraded due to QNH or bleeds and take-off
weight remains unchanged for flex take-off, the speeds don’t need any correction.

Final Check.

2 T Flex > T Ref.
3 T Flex < T Flex Max
