Solution:

Aflatoxin is a mycotoxin produced by the Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus

molds. It may be inhaled through contaminated corn or peanut dusts and other grains
and food commodities. It may also be ingested through contaminated foods including
grains, nuts, eggs, and meat products.

Acute exposure to aflatoxin may lead to cirrhosis of the liver. Chronic exposures are
associated with an increased risk of liver cancer.

The correct solution is D.
