Diploma in Electrical Engineering

1. Certified that Ex. Sgt Amod Kumar Gaur was enrolled in the Indian Air Force on
10 May 1994 in Electrical Fitter trade had undergone and successfully completed
the prescribed training for award of Diploma in Electrical Engineering from
Electrical & Instrument Training Institute after passing the requisite examination.

2. Indian Air Force Trade Electrical Fitter has been recognized as Diploma in
Electrical Engineering for recruitment to subordinate posts and services under the
central Government vide Government of India Ministry of Education and Social
Welfare (Department of Education) OM No. F.18-52/75/T-2/T-7 dated 22 Jul 1977.
Further , Diploma in Electrical Engineering in appropriate discipline plus total 10
years of technical experience in the appropriate fields is recognised as EQUIVALENT
TO DEGREE IN ENGINEERING vide Govt of India Ministry of Education and Social

testing, calibration, installation and wiring of all airborne and ground electrical
equipment. Adjusting simple jigs and electrical apparatus to ensure stipulated

operation of the switches , circuit breakers fuses, relays and contactors . Soldering
and joining cables, detecting faults and rectifying them, if any. Performing simple

of case hardening, annealing etc.
2. Detailed knowledge and experience of detecting intricate defects, rectifying
them and undertaking more difficult tasks. Estimating and drawing materials,
maintaining records and suggesting improvements and modifications in designs to
obtain better results.
3. Thorough knowledge and experience of organizing work, supervising,
operating and guiding juniors as necessary. Striping and examining defective parts
and accessories, investing causes of failures, estimating damage and suggesting
remedial measures whenever possible..
4. In addition, he has successfully completed the following professional /
specialist course:-
