- KEEP THE ACCESS PLATFORM AT A SUFFICIENT DISTANCE FROM THE AIRCRAFT (IN WIND, SHOCK ABSORB
ER REBOUND CAN CAUSE MOVEMENT OF THE AIRCRAFT).
1. Reason for the Job

This procedure gives the instructions necessary for the return-to-operation of the aircraft after a parking period.
You must complete the return-to-operation procedure at a time, when the aircraft will fly in the 24 hours that follow unless specified di
fferently by the applicable national authority regulations.
If the return-to-operation procedure is immediately followed by large maintenance operations, the aircraft must fly immediately after t
he signature of the release-to-service document. During maintenance, it is necessary to find and use an applicable preservation proce
dure.
It is necessary to do a flight to reset a parking period.

(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the systems while you prepare the airc
raft for operation again.

(1) Connect batteries 2PB1 and 2PB2 and make sure that the battery charge is correct Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-400-001.

(3) On the CABIN PRESS section of the panel 25VU:
- Make sure that the PROBE/WINDOW HEAT pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).

- Release the DITCHING pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off) to open the ventilation skin valves and the outfl
ow valve.

4. Procedure
SUBTASK 10-30-00-210-082-A
A. General Visual Inspection
(1) Do a general visual inspection of the airframe from the ground for correct condition.
(a) Make sure that there are no leaks from:

- The wings
- The lower fuselage
- The landing gear
- The engines
- The Auxiliary Power Unit (APU)
- The horizontal and vertical stabilizers.
(2) If necessary, clean the aircraft externally Ref. AMM TASK 12-21-11-615-002 Ref. AMM TASK 12-21-11-615-002.

B. Removal of the Protection Equipment
(1) Remove the aircraft protection equipment from the engines and the APU Ref. AMM TASK 10-11-00-555-014.
You must not remove the protection from the probes.
Protection from the probes is removed just before flushing of air data system.

C. Disinfection of the Potable Water System
(1) If the aircraft was parked for more than 4 weeks, do the disinfection of the potable water system Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-0

(1) If the aircraft parking period was more than 1 month, do a fuel sampling for microbiological contamination analysis Ref. A

(2) Drain water from all the fuel tanks
- From all the fuel tanks Ref. AMM TASK 12-32-28-281-001.

Do the water drain procedure one hour after the end of the refueling procedure.

(3) Do a check of the tire pressure Ref. AMM TASK 32-41-00-210-003.

(5) If the aircraft parking period was more than 1 month, do a check of the charge pressure of the landing-gear shock absorb

- The pitot probe,

- The TAT sensor or
- The AOA sensor,
or, a protection was missing during the periodic ground check at 7-day intervals:

G. Flushing of the Air Data System (ADS)
(1) Conditions for flushing
You must only flush the related ADS(s) for which one or more of these conditions apply:
- The aircraft was in parking for more than 1 month. Thus:
. You did not do the flushing of the ADS 1 month or less before the return-to-service, or
. You did not install all the probe covers immediately after this flushing.
- All the probe covers were not installed immediately after the last flight of the aircraft.
- There was a report of air data problems during the last flight of the aircraft.
- The aircraft was operated or parked in very bad weather conditions (dust storm or sand storm or snow storm or he
avy rain) or in a atmosphere with haze (foreign material can collect in the lines).
- A probe cover was not found in position during all the periodic ground check.
- A probe cover was not found in position at the time of the return to operation.
- There is water, sand or dust on the static and pitot probes when you remove the protection equipment.
(2) If one of these conditions occurs, you must flush the related ADS.
(a) Flush the total pressure line of the Air Data Module (ADM) Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-170-001.
(b) Flush the static pressure line of the ADM Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-170-002.
(c) Drain and flush the standby pneumatic circuit of the ADM Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-170-003.

(4) Remove the warning notice from the cockpit.
(5) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
