the results of the
laboratory analyzes on

As I have asked my mother regarding this certain issue in Asturias, although, she does not
remember the entire story but she remembers that the place was announced as an under state of calamity
because of the several reports that people got sick after consuming fish from the coast of Asturias since
it is all over the news.

2. How the events and issues described in your chosen article or photo affected the lives of your
parents/guardian; and the society in general?

My mother knew about the significant effect that this particular issue would really affect
the lives of the people not just in Asturias but in the whole province of Cebu. It was aired on local media
so that means everyone heard and read about this kind of issue. People at that time do not buy fishes in
any market. As what my parents told me that you will never know if that specific fish that you bought may
or may not be from Asturias. It is better to prevent and avoid eating it just to be safe. They also told me
that a lot of people is suffering especially to those fish vendors and fishermen because it is their primary
source of livelihood.

This particular issue or problem did not affect me at that time because I was still a baby
but as I grew up, I have been affected in this kind of situation. Well, not just the fishes from the Asturias
but all over the world. If our family finds out in relevance with the issue, we will not eat that specific food
for at least 2 months long or if some group in the government take action and announced to the public
that it is now safe to eat this particular food.
