On 3 1 - I 2- 17 Pankaj sent an Account sale and a bank draft for

the payment due from him. He reported in the Account sale that

(1) He paid Rs. 5,400 for octroi . Rs. 1.600 for carriage
and Rs. 3,000 for selling expenses.

(3) He sold 8 refrigerators at Rs. 40,000 each to rnahesh

chemical to Sonali rraders of Ahmedabaci at Rs. I0 per litre.
They paid Rs. I ,000 for expenses. The consignee accepeted a
bill of 12,0t)a drawn by rhe consign.r whicrr rhe latter
discounted for Rs. I 1.800

From the Account sales received from the consignee, it was

seen that 1,600 ritres were sold at Rs. 20 and there was

shortage of 50litres due to natural causes. The consignee was
entitled to a commissionof 5 vo and del credere commission of
2 va -The consignee Sent a bank draft for the barance arong
with theAccount sales. A customer to whom the consignee
had -sold gcods for RS. r,000 on credit was creclared bankrupt
and only 50 p. in a rupee could be recovered frorn his estate.
