Simulation of Chemical Reactor Using Aspen Plus

Introduction:
Benzene (C6H6) can be produced from toluene (C7H8) by
hydrodealkylation. Hydrodealkylation is a chemical reaction that often
involves reacting an aromatic hydrocarbon, such as toluene, in the
presence of hydrogen gas to form a simpler aromatic hydrocarbon
devoid of functional groups.
Aspen plus is a process simulation software package widely used in
chemical industry today. Aspen plus uses mathematical models to
predict the performance of the process.
