Upon looking on our teary eyes, you can tell that this is our most-awaited, yet one of

the saddest chapters in our life. Today, we are going to harvest the fruits of our labor from a
flabbergasting and weary journey. For this reason, let me recognize the presence of everyone
who gathered for this momentous event.

To our venerable guests, Dr. Arceli S. Lopez, Ms. Maria Jesusa D. Lingad, our guest
speaker, to our ever-supportive and gorgeous principal, Mrs. Lilia G. Valdez, also to our
effective barangay captain, Hon. Danilo T. Dabu with his officials, to our benevolent PTA
officers led by Mr. Enrique Santos, our avid and passionate Parent Graduation Committee
headed by Mr. _____________, our respectable school’s administrators, beloved school’s
teaching and non-teaching staffs, loving parents, fellow candidates for graduation, I heartily
welcome you to our Graduation Rites 2019.

Like a warrior, we need to be firm, brave and resilient to win every battle. For the past
years, we had war against sleepless nights to accomplish our requirements or to prepare for the
examinations. We encountered bloody combat just to defend the researches we’ve labored. We
fought vigorously averse to tiredness, stress, self-degradation and anxiety to receive the
certificate of completion as our badge. Bombarded with pressure and expectations but we still
manage to find courage and sharpen our swords. Indeed it is a flabbergasting and weary
journey.

With our delightful smiles, we are aiming higher while keeping our feet on the ground.
We are primed to show that the K-12 products are well-equipped to welcome and face the new
challenges outside of these treasured thresholds of San Pablo 2nd National High School. I am
pleased to say that I’m a warrior who geared up with burning passion to live up to my own
dreams.

Everything would be beyond the bounds of possibility without these people who never
failed to support and guide me. My sincerest gratitude to the SP2NHS family and friends, my
mentors that always reminding us the word ‘mikakalugud’ to promote collaboration and
cooperation instead of competition. As might be expected, my parents who prompt me “Nak,
mangan na ka, paynawa n aka pa,” the fighter must take rest to rejuvenate for another clash.

Like a warrior, we need to be firm, brave and resilient, and those warriors were marched
confidently earlier with a heart after a victorious battle.

Once again, respectful guests, dear teachers, beloved parents and fellow candidates for
graduation, I whole-heartedly welcome you on the commencement exercises of the batch 2018-
2019 of San Pablo 2nd National High School. Good evening and God bless.
