    THESIS TITLE:

    Extension of Sailkot Airport

    INTRODUCTION:
    Airport architecture encompasses the planning, design and construction of terminal, runways
    and navigation aids to provide for passenger and freight service.An airport is facility where
    passengers connect transportation to air transportation.AIRFIELD is an area where an aircraft
    can land take off which may or may not be equipped with any navigation aids or markings.

    FEASIBILITY:
    Existing building is insufficient for present and future needs. The extension of this airport will
    decrease the traffic load of Lahore and Islamabad Airport resulting in the improvement of
    security and easy approach for the surroundings cities. It will also beneficial for cargo.

    SCOP OF WORK:
     Design according to existing building design so that new extension easily merge in
    existing building design.
     Design according to the site context and climate responsive design.
     Incorporate best structure systems.
     Present best design option.
