Aerospace industries
Aircraft construction requires high quality faste-
ning due to the enormous forces occurring during
take-off, flight and landing. That is why these faste- 1
ners meet the strictest quality requirements. KVT
offers a multitude of such fasteners. Their outstan-

safety in various applications in the aerospace

Speed rivets were developed especially as an alter-

native for solder posts of conductor boards in the
electronics industries.

Construction of special machinery, domestic appli-

ances
In current construction metallic materials are
increasingly being replaced by high-power plastics
and innovative composite materials. High capacity
with considerable weight saving and freedom of
design are among the factors of success for these
construction materials. KVT’s innovative connec-
ting components allow the ideal combination of

The building industry uses laminates for the grea-

test resistance and the least weight. In this case
peel and load spreading rivets are the perfect fas-
teners.

These blind rivet nuts form a bulge without cont-
rolled hole filling and stress induction into the work
piece. Brittle materials can be fastened safely and
without stress for the base material. The bulge can
be formed in a pre-specified material level of the
composite to ensure solid hold.

on the base material.

Advantages
n The BCT blind rivet nut only causes a slightly bearing
stress (no hole filling) in the base material
– No danger of base material damage

base material there is only a small bearing pressure of

less than 100 N/mm2
– No stress peaks in the area around the edge of the hole

on of the bulge upon setting

– No post-setting during the screwing process

Speed rivets guarantee fast installation thanks to a n
