RECRUITMENT FOR FACULTY POSITION

VNIT, Nagpur is an Institute of National Importance offering UG, PG and Ph.D

programmes in Engineering and Technology, Architecture and Basic Sciences.
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals working in India / Abroad for
faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The
applicants should be highly motivated for teaching, committed to carry out quality
research and must possess excellent academic record.
The Institute is currently considering applications in the following departments :
1) Civil Engineering, 2) Mechanical Engineering, 3) Mining Engineering,
4) Applied Mechanics, 5) Chemical Engineering, 6) Electronics & Communication
Engineering, 7) Centre for VLSI and Nanotechnology, 8) Electrical Engineering,
9) Computer Science and Engineering, 10) Metallurgical & Materials Engineering,
11) Architecture & Planning, 12) Physics, 13) Chemistry, 14) Mathematics, and
15) Humanities.
[Except Assistant Professor AGP Rs. 6000/- (Level-10) in Chemistry, Chemical,
Mechanical & Centre for VLSI and Nanotechnology Departments only]
The Last date of receipt of completed application is 9th August, 2019, 5:00 PM
by post/hand.
In case the last date falls on a holiday / series of holidays, the last date of receipt of
application will be the next working day (till 5.00 PM only). Application form
