a) The candidates must appear in the test conducted by the respective Departments on the date
notified in the schedule.
b) MSc program shall be opened to Candidates with BSc. Engineering/Equivalent qualification in the
Eligibility relevant Branch of Engineering recognized by PEC with minimum CGPA 2.5/4.00 in the Semester
Criteria System or 60% marks in the Annual System. The candidates whose BSc result is awaited are also
eligible to apply however; they must provide the BSc result sheet at the time of interview.
c) For admission in MS (Math/ Physics), a candidate must hold a degree of BS Math/BS Physics or
MSc Math/MSc Physics.
d) For admission in MS Computer Science, the minimum CGPA 2.00/4.00 in the Semester System or
60% marks in the Annual System are required. The candidates with 16 years of education in the
domains (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer
Science) are eligible to apply.
e) For admission in MS Data Science, the minimum CGPA 2.00/4.00 in the Semester System or 60%
marks in the Annual System are required. The candidates with 16 years of education in the
domains (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics) are eligible to apply.
 The Endowment Fund Scholarship Scheme (Rs.30,000/- per month) is also available for the above
Scholarship deciplines at S.No 1 to 6.
 Few merit base funding positions are also available for 18 months in the following departments/Labs:
s i. Engergy Engineering Department under HEC/TDF and HEC/NRPU.
ii. Telecom Engineering Department under DPI Lab “Establishment of National Centre in Cyber Security (NCCS)
iii. Computer Engineering Department under the Project of “Defender: Hardware Trojan Resilient
Processor Core”
It is mandatory for all applicants to get Post Graduate Prospecuts from the office of Directorate of
Submission of
ASR&TD. Application forms alongwith requisite Documents and Postal Order/Bank Draft of Rs.
Applications 1000/- (non-refundable) in favour of Treasurer UET Taxila, payable at HBL UET Taxila, be
submitted to the Office of Chairman of the concerned Department as per Schedule given below:-
