Note: There are 2 versions of the Roland Virtual Sound Canvas on this CD.

1. RolandED VSC3 - Standard MIDI Software Synth

2. Virtual Sound Canvas DXi (VSC DXi) is a software synthesizer that's
compatible with DirectX Instrument (DXi)

Please install the version(s) appropriate for your use.

Roland Virtual Sound Canvas VSC-MP1 turns your computer into a

powerful music synthesizer. An external MIDI sound module is not
necessary. VSC-MP1 is compatible with both the General MIDI System
and the GS format, and can play back music files created for them.

System Requirements

For maximum Virtual Sound Canvas performance, it is recommended that your processor
be one of the following:
- Pentium Processor 166 Mhz or higher
- Pentium Processor with MMX technology 150 Mhz or higher
- Pentium II Processor or higher

**Windows 95 users only**

If you have a slower system than listed above, it is recommended
that you install the VSC-55.
Choose D:\10pak\VSC3\VSC55\SETUP.EXE to install the VSC-55. Where D: is the
drive letter for your CD-ROM.

Windows 95/98 Installation

1. Choose D:\10pak\roland_vsc3_setup.EXE to install the VSC-3. Where D: is the

drive
letter for your CD-ROM.
This program will install the VSC-3 to your hard disk.

Uninstallation
**************

1. Click the "Start" button, point to "Settings", and then click on

"Control Panel."
2. Double-click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.
"Add/Remove Programs Properties" dialog will be opened.
3. Click on the "Install/Uninstall" tab.
4. Click "Roland VSC-3" in the list in the dialog.
5. Click the "Add/Remove" button.
6. After uninstalling, restart Windows.
