CHAPTER ONE
WHO IS THE HOLY
SPIRIT?
form of a man, yet they lack the very image of man and
God. What few of their kind have is just the likeness. This
is what make them look like men when they are on Earth.
If you look at the verse you'll see that God made man in
His image and likeness. This is what many are ignorant of.
There is a significant difference between image and
likeness.
The Hebrew word for image there is צֶלֶם- tselem meaning
resemblance; a representative figure. This does not
necessarily refer to outward looks. It refers to the
resemblance of qualities and nature. God loves, hate, cry,
have passion etc. Angels don't have these. In fact our life is
a mystery to them. If they possess any of this qualities, it is
in a very limited measure.
Unlike image that refers to qualities and nature, likeness is
from the Hebrew word דְּמוּתdemûwth - resemblance;
concretely, model, shape; adverbially, like; fashion,
likeness, manner, similitude. Likeness also means
resemblance. But what kind of resemblance? Outward
looks only! Some Angels may possess this but they ain't
God's image. Not even the unbelievers possess it. When
Adam sinned, he lost the image (nature) of God and only
retained His (God) likeness (outward looks). The nature of

God. He has His hands on you and thus, no evil can come
near you. Ezekiel in the verse was bittered over the sins of
the Jews but upon that, He was secured in the hand of
Jehovah The Spirit. Never bother about what you see or
feel today. Be it sudden evil, threats, heartbreak, or even
temptation to defile your way. Just rest and believe that
God the Spirit got your back, and the more you fellowship
with Him, the deeper you rest in His arms. Praise God!
CHAPTER TWO
SPIRIT IN DIFFERENT
MANIFESTATIONS
15
Acts 16 (KJV)
"² And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang
praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
² And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that
the foundations of the prison were shaken: and
immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's
bands were loosed."
Paul and Silas in prison continued in their fellowship, and
when it was time for the Holy Ghost to manifest, He came
like a great earthquake. He shook the very foundation of
the prison and freed every captive. Cells were unlocked,
and chains were broken. You can experience this also.
That same power is still available today. Another great
manifestation of this earth shaking power was at the death
of Christ.
Matthew 27 (KJV)
Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice,
yielded up the ghost.
¹ And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain
from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake,
and the rocks rent;
21
Acts 2 (KJV)
³ And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as
of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and
began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave
them utterance."
The tongues of fire stood on their head signifying all the
settlement of the Holy Ghost on Earth. You know the Holy
Ghost was not yet given, people in the Old Testament were
only experience a measure of Him, but today we
experience and have His fullness. He wants to pour out His
fullness on all that will believe. If your Christian life is
cold or lukewarm, you need the fire! Are you facing all
kinds of spiritual attacks and conflicts? You need the fire!
I love Evang. Reinhardt Bonnke's book "Evangelism By
Fire". He said "A fly cannot perch on a hot stove. So also a
23
Romans 8 (KJV)
¹ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are
the sons of God.
¹ The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that
we are the children of God.
Paul reveals the Holy Spirit's leadership as a vital evidence
of our Sonship in God. How does He lead us? - by His
words in our spirit. Some folks believe that the evidence of
God's presence is in what I feel. Individuals like that are
under the rulership of their feelings but not what they
know. Feelings are deceptive, and the Holy Ghost does not
necessarily lead us by feelings, but by that deep voice of
conviction in our spirit. He bears witness with our spirit
that we are God's sons. If you see anyone that is unsure if
he is saved or forgiven, don't jump to blame the devil. You
must understand that what took place at your new birth
was spiritual and centered around your inner man, your
flesh is still an alien to that saving grace. For you to
remain in the assurance and consciousness of your
salvation, you must be filled with the Spirit. Then will He
constantly bear witness with your spirit that you are God's
child. Jesus reveals how the leadership of the Holy Ghost
comes.

CHAPTER THREE
JESUS' WITNESS OF
THE FATHERS
If you are asked who was the Father of Jesus while He was
human what will be your answer? I believe you will say
God the Father or even Joseph the carpenter. But you must
under that Jesus' father wasn't just those two, Jesus Father
was the Holy Ghost. First let's look at the account of Jesus'
birth.
Luke 1 (KJV)
² And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent
from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
² To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was
Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name
was Mary.
28
² And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou
that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed
art thou among women.
² And when she saw him, she was troubled at his
saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation
this should be.
³ And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for
thou hast found favour with God.
³¹ And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and
bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
³² He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the
Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the
throne of his father David:
³³ And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever;
and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
³ Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be,
seeing I know not a man?
³ And the angel answered and said unto her, The
Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the
Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy

THE FATHER IN ME
The next Father of Christ was not actually in Heaven, but
in Him. In fact Jesus talked about this Father so much
especially when it relates to His works on Earth. The
Father is the Holy Ghost. When Jesus was at the end of
His earthly ministry, He had a very powerful conversation
with His disciples:
John 14 (KJV)
If ye had known me, ye should have known my
Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and
have seen him.
Jesus here opened their understanding to the reality of the
Father. He even went to the extent of saying the Father is
seen in Him. Thinking that Jesus was referring to the
Father in Heaven Philip spoke out:

CHAPTER FOUR:
39
And all the people that heard him, and the publicans,
justified God, being baptized with the baptism of
John.
—Luke 7: 29 (KJV)
BORN OF WATER?
Am not saying water baptism is not important, but it is not
the grace that saved your soul. That which saves is faith in
Christ. And Faith in Christ brings about the birth of water
and Spirit. Water in the old testament is figurative to
salvation.
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the
wells of salvation.
—Isaiah 12: 3 (KJV)
Since being born again produces salvation we must clearly
understand how water applies then:
Ephesians 5 (KJV)
² That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the word.
43
So you are born of the water - the Word! It's the same
word you need to grow in your new birth:
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the
word, that ye may grow thereby:
—1 Peter 2: 2 (KJV)
It is that same word that cleanse you day by day to
perfection.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by
taking heed thereto according to thy word.
—Psalms 119: 9 (KJV)
Christ Himself revealed this:
Now ye are clean through the word which I have
spoken unto you.
—John 15: 3 (KJV).
In John 14, Jesus reveals that the Holy Ghost is with them
and will be in them soon. He was with them because Jesus
Himself being with them carried the Father in Him. But
this time, He wasn't just gonna be with them, He shall
made them is abode.

FATHER OR GOD?
God created everyone. He created both believers and
unbelievers. I remember a young lady asked me a very
interesting question about this subject. She wamted to
know who God is to us and the unbelievers since we all are
His creation. I saw in the lady's mood that she was trying
to battle out the answer. I asked her if she believe in the
creation of robots, she vividly claimed she does. I then told
her to imagine herself creating one and making it look like
her. I also told her to imagine having a biological son too.
Then I asked her " what is the robot to you?" She smiled
and exclaimed "my creation". I asked her plainly "if the
robot should be so good and wonderful and your son is a
vagabond, can you ever replace him with the robot?"
Again she added "never!" I then open to her that God is a
creator to the unbelievers but to us He is a Father. He sees
them as His creation but we are His sons. They look like
Him based on outward looks, but we are like Him. We are
His nature. No matter how good an unbeliever is, He can
never be drafted into the place of a worst son.
What really differentiate us from the unbelievers is that we
have a relationship with the Holy Ghost and God. A

CHAPTER FIVE
SONS, NOT BASTARDS
"My prayer is not that you take them out of the world
but that you protect them from the evil one."
John 17:15 NIV
BORN OF LOVE
1 John 4 (KJV)
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God;
and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth
God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent his only begotten Son into the
world, that we might live through him.
60
You are born of God and the Bible reveals that God is
love. That's amazing! You see why you can't hate or
dislike people again? I know people can be very offensive
and provocative at times, but you must understand that you
can't hate even if you are forced to because there's no
negative hatred in your nature again. There's no bias in
you, no feeling of favouritism, or preferences in the body
of Christ. You can't even lift a finger to hurt in pains, you
can't curse. This is because you are born of love. I thought
that the words of Christ in Mathew 5 was so rigid and
unrealistic, but after understanding what it means to be
born of love, I knew that I didn't have to learn how to do
good, love my enemies, give and expect nothing back etc.
I just had to understand that they are in me and I've got to
release them to this dying world. The flesh might want to
act opposite, but I must remember that life springs from
the inside and not the outside. Paul reveals this in Romans.
"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of
God is shed abroad in our hearts by the HOLY
GHOST which is given unto us."
Romans 5:5 KJV
That love of God in us is what we display every day. It is
the Agape love. A selfless and sacrificial love. A love that
61
—Galatians 5: 22 (KJV)
So your Father is there to help you believe for greater
manifestation. Just keep listening to the word of God and
He will help increase your Faith through it. This kind of
faith is called the overcoming faith. It is this faith that John
referred to:
1 John 5 (KJV)
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the
world: and this is the victory that overcometh the
world, even our faith.
You are born of the Holy Ghost; the Holy Ghost is God!
So you've got God DNA, you don't have to settle for less
anymore. The second secret to perfection is faith. Fear
causes sin, guilt, and shame. But the opposite of fear is
faith. If you can believe, you don't have to fear it anymore.
Faith kills worry. Anxiety have led many to the path of
suicide. This is because they have no hope in life and thus
no faith. Remember that hope is the father of faith. So the
Father in you will give you hope and faith to help you
overcome your fears. Hope means expectation and faith is
the assurance that you will get what you expect.
64
that I love most but how they will come - by his divine
power. The power of God is another name for the Holy
Ghost. The verse points out that all we could ever need for
life and godliness is deposited in us by the Holy Ghost. All
in us because we are His dwelling place. He fills us with
lovable things. There's nothing out of you that can be
lesser than the quality given by God. If it's not the best
then it's not for you. You are now in a better and greater
position than Jacob. Jacob stole the blessing of Esau, yet
we are guaranteed a greater blessing today.
Galatians 3 (KJV)
¹³ Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,
being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is
every one that hangeth on a tree:
¹ That the blessing of Abraham might come on the
Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive
the promise of the Spirit through faith.
We are above curses. Though you might have been guilty
of some ill actions that attracted curses on you, as you
enter the family of Christ, they don't exist anymore. Christ
did not just pay for our freedom, He as well paid for all our
errors till the end of this world. Since we are set free and

CHAPTER SIX
71
CHASTENED, NOT
PUNISHED
CHASTISEMENT VS PUNISHMENT
God doesn't punish His children. No matter what any
believer have done, he can never attract God's punishment
but only God's chastisement. If a believer go and commit
sin, you must understand that sin have its own results and
fruits. Such a believer might suffer physically as a result of
that careless act, but that's not God punishing him. Let me
give you an instance. If a believer fornicates and
pregnancy results from the act. Will you say it's God's
punishment if she gets shamed, or even being left as a
single mum. It's not God, that's just the effects of her sin.
Nevertheless, she is still a child of God and if she cries to
God, He is ready to help her out of that mess.
God punish unbelievers but chasten His children. The
difference is that punishment is to make one suffer for the
crime he committed. It is channel to bring change in the
person, but to serve justice and payback for evil done. But
that is far from chastisement. Chastisement according to
the Wiktionary is "To punish (in order to bring about
improvement in behavior, attitude, etc.); to restrain,
moderate". This is why the book of Hebrew reveals:
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and
scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
