    Tumbling Hammer Rapper

    Tumbling hammer rapping system’s main function is to reduce and prevent dust accumulation on
    the collecting plates, discharge electrodes and gas distribution screens. This type of design has
    2 types: in-line tumbling hammer and perpendicular tumbling hammer, depending on ESP OEM’s
    design. Tumbling hammers are installed to shaft at different angle, which will be turned by motor
    and allow the hammers to hit the anvil of discharge electrode and collecting plate framework at
    different time period, to dislodge dust accumulation from metal surface.

    The weight of tumbling hammer head and the rapping frequency affect the effectiveness of the
    rapping impact. Too heavy hammers can shorten the lifespan of ESP mechanical part, while too
    light hammers may not have enough force to remove the dust from material surface. The rapping
    system at the inlet field are usually set to strike more often than the one in outlet field to get the
    most effective outcome as well as to prevent dust re-entrainment.

    T&C we customize hammer to fit with major ESP’s OEM drawing as well as customer’s
    requirements. T & C can also upgrade to a new design and assist in adjusting frequency setting for
    your rapping system.
