CUCET Cut off will depend on the overall performance by students in the entrance exam. Each
university releases its own CUCET Cut off list for the courses they offer. The tentative cutoff marks for

online mode. No other mode is entertained to check the result.

CUCET counselling 2018  is conducted by the each participating university separately through online
mode. Each university conduct its own counselling. All universities have their own eligibility criteria for
offering the admissions.

CUCET 2018 Merit Calculation

Merit List is calculated on the basis of Aggregate Marks (%) obtained in qualifying degree course or
Board Certi cation and Marks obtained in CUCET. There is certain weightage of both the marks:

30% of Qualifying Degree Course or Board Certi cate (10, 10+2)

70% of CUCET Marks

For Example:

80% is Aggregate Marks of 10+2 Exam then 30% of 82 = 24

75 Marks in CUCET then 70% of 75 = 52.5
Net Merit for CUCET Weill be (a+b) 24 + 52.5 = 76.5

CUCET Merit List is declared category-wise. General Merit / OBC Merit / St Merit / Sc Merit. General
Merit is open for all categories candidates. CUCET Merit for OBC/St/Sc categories is reserved
category as per the constitution of India. Speci ed numbers of seats are reserved for these categories
in every course or program.
