ASSEMBLY PRODUCT INFORMATION
DEPOSIT:
An amount of money that a company holds until certain requirements are met. Such as successfully
assembling a company's products and returning them within a specified time.
MATERIAL COST:
The amount of money it cost you for the materials to complete a company's products or perform the
job.
REIMBURSEMENT:
A company fully or partially paying you back for an expense you paid up front. Such as postage or
buying materials.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Equipment and/or skills needed to perform the work offered by an assembly company.
STARTER KIT:
The initial package sent to you by an assembly company. Usually includes materials, instructions,
checklist and photographs/samples for you to use to make your first items.
UNIT:
The minimum number of items an assembly company requires you to produce and ship back to them
at any one time. Payments are based on units completed. Some companies set a maximum number
of units they will accept from any one producer per week.

HOME ASSEMBLY AND PRODUCTION WORK
IMPORTANT
LIKE ANY INDUSTRY, the work at home market has its share of reliable and
unreliable companies. It has been our goal to separate the two, so you can
pursue a rewarding and profitable venture working from home.

companies listed, however, have shown a good track record over the years.
If this type of work interests you, we suggest that you contact these companies,

Because there is no selling involved, most people perceive this kind of employment to be the easiest to do.
This can be true, if you are the type of person who has the determination to stick to a task.
No one will be sitting over your shoulder telling you when or how to do the work. This will be totally up to you. If
you are not someone who is self motivated, this work may not be for you. Remember, the more you produce,
the more money you make.
Of course, you have the full flexibility of setting your own hours. You may decide to work eight hours a day
some days, and only part time some others. You can decide to take off during a vacation, or something special
you have planned with the family. It is up to you.

Most assembly jobs require a refundable deposit up front to start. This is standard with this type of
work because they want to make sure you will produce the
products and send them back to them, made to their
standards and not just keep the supplies.
Typically there is a start up, or registration fee. This covers the
company expenses of setting you up. The companies refund the
fee after you have produced a certain amount of items.
Most companies will then send you a starter kit with enough
materials for you to make some of the items. This is your
opportunity to see first hand if this is the kind of work you can do
and enjoy. It also lets the company know that your work is up to
the standards they require in order to sell the items.
Many companies have a completed sample available you can purchase, and some simply include it
in your kit. It is generally a good idea to order the sample, so you can see exactly how the item is to
be completed, if the company does not provide one.
Once your work has been approved, you are ready to order your materials. Some companies require
that you order all your materials from them, so they can control the
uniformity of the product. Others give you the option of purchasing your
materials locally, and reimburse you for the cost up to a certain
amount. Make sure you can actually secure the materials locally for
the amount they allow you, or less.
For those companies that supply you with materials, there will be a
deposit that you must send them. This deposit is to insure that you will
return the finished items. The deposit is refunded when they receive
your work, or you can leave it as the deposit on your next order of
materials.
When your materials arrive, you want to make sure everything is in good shape, and you have
everything you need to make the complete number of
items, usually one unit. Now you're ready to begin
assembling. Be careful on your first unit, making sure
your finished work meets the standards as set out in the
checklist you should have received. When you finish,
pack your work carefully and ship them to the
company according to their Instructions.
Once the company checks your work for quality, and it
passes inspection, they will send you a check. Each
company pays a little differently, with the average time to
receive your check being about two weeks. Some pay on a set
date once a month, and some pay as quickly as three days.
After a period of time, you will get very good at producing the same item. At this point, you may want to
involve other family members in the production. Having certain parts of the work handled by others will
certainly allow you to produce more work per week and of course your income will increase. accordingly.

Call Center Rep., you will perform one of four specific roles:
