BACKGROUND

 Cigarette smoking remains the leading cause of illness. Cigarette smoking is one of the major
problems that every school is facing right now. Most students are having this kind of addiction, that
even inside school premises they are not afraid to do it. We should focus on this one, and make an
action on how to lessen or eliminate the number of students who’s into this bad habits. It is everyone’s
right to have a good health, and we should be helping each other to live a healthy life. Students should
fully understand the consequences of smoking on their health and that will be a huge part of this
campaign. Letting them to know the effects of smoking on their bodies and the environment where
they belong.
AIM

 To assist in planning anti-smoking advertising that targets youth.


 To raise awareness among the students.
 To eliminate number of students who are engage in smoking.
OBJECTIVES

 To test whether students' participation in advocacy activities related to the advertising, availability, and
use of tobacco in their communities would prevent or reduce their own tobacco use.

KEY MESSAGES

 Students
This anti-cigarette smoking campaign educates and enables every learner to access various information
as to why cigarette-smoking should be prohibited. This campaign also provided certain ways on
battling this issue. Moreover, students would benefit in this campaign and should continue this
advocacy; especially for student-chain-smokers so that they can assess their health status and lifestyle
at an early period of time.

TIMELINE

 Facilitating, orienting and disseminating information at the students regarding what is cigarette
smoking and why it is dangerous for health.
 Active involvement of the audiences (e.g. students, teachers and facilitators) through different
activities and contests to extract their concepts and visions regarding the campaign; also to assess their
capability to apply the informations relayed during orientation.
 Visual presentation that discusses dilemma, process and consequences to further strengthen the
advocacy.
