Introduction

In the following work we realized the understanding and learned what

permeability and permittivity is and what it is as well as we knew the value of
them and we met and put into practice an example.
Solution of the 5 questions

1. What is an electromagnetic wave?

They are those waves that do not need a material means to
propagate. They include, among others, visible light and radio,
television and telephone waves.

2. What is electrical permittivity 𝜺 and magnetic permeability 𝝁

of a medium?

The electrical permittivity 𝜺 and magnetic permeability 𝝁 of a

medium determine the phase velocity v of electromagnetic radiation
within it:

3. In a vacuum, what is the value of the electric permittivity 𝜺𝒐

and the magnetic permeability 𝝁𝒐 ?

permittivity 𝜺𝒐 8.8541878176x10-12 C2 / (N·m2).

permeability

4. If the relationship between relative and absolute electric permittivity

in a medium is 𝜺 = 𝜺𝒓 𝜺𝒐 , what is for the absolute magnetic
permeability 𝝁 and the relative 𝝁𝒓 ?

2𝜋
5. In the wave equation 𝐸(𝑥, 𝑡) = 𝐴 𝑠𝑒𝑛(𝑘𝑥 − 𝑤𝑡)𝑗̂ = 𝐴 𝑠𝑒𝑛 ( 𝑥−
𝜆
2𝜋𝑓𝑡) 𝑗̂ identify the following parameters and their unit:
- Amplitude: _A_ [m] (example).
- Frequency: _ν = ω 2 π =
- Weather: ___
- Angular frequency: ___ω = 8 π rad/s;
- Wavelength: ___λ = 2 π k
- Wave number: ___k = 2 π rad/m;
- Polarization direction: ___
- Direction of displacement: ___
Conclusions

Conclusion 1:

Conclusion 2:

The conclusions should be written with their own words and should focus
on the concepts explored, learned, discovered and practiced in the
development of the activity, it is suggested to present a conclusion by
topic, the result of learning obtained as evidence of conceptual
assimilation.

To obtain a good writing it is suggested to read the written several times,

correcting and adjusting the text until obtaining a clear and coherent
postulate. Avoid superficiality and simplicity.
