SCOPE AND DELIMITATION OF THE STUDY

To Analyze and Design of Steel Bridge, evaluation of the

following explicitly outlined scope and delimitation listed

below were required:

I. BRIDGE MATERIALS

In constructing a bridge, bolts and gusset plate are

working together with each other for any permanent or

temporary connection or joint. A gusset plate is connected

to the girder, beams and columns of bridge. Steel is for

truss.

II. BRIDGE SPAN

Structural Analysis and Design of Steel Bridge is

especially efficient in the 20 meters.

III. SPECIFICATIONS, CODES AND PROVISIONS

They have many specifications, codes and provisions

that related to the bridge but in the study the researcher

was choose the National Structural Code of the Philippines.

IV. SOIL STRENGTH

In soil strength, the researcher was looking for the

minimum soil bearing capacity for the foundation with the

depth of 3m.
