Describe the current market for rideshare in India.

Apps like Bla Bla, Uber, OLA are creating a great impact in rideshare market.
People prefer car pooling to individual driving which is cost efficient and user
friendly. It also plays a major role in employing people from rural areas. As per the
case, the consumers increases day by day and the revenue growth is decreasing.
Certain corporate companies arrange transports depending on these rideshares.
Increase in oil rates are also one of the reasons for the success of this market. The
frequent users are between the age of 25 and 34. This implies that the target
audience is working people. Carpooling is now been taken a step ahead by renting
a car with or without driver in which repairs in between the travel can be sort out
by the team. This initiative was taken by “Zoom car”.

Yes, Market for car share service in India continues to exist. It is one of the easy
modes of transportation which is convenient and cost efficient. This particular
market eventually decreases the use of cars for individual and traffic thereby
controlling pollution. As an Indian consumer, it is a luxury for middle and lower
level social groups in which they can afford to travel in car. Usage of oils like
petroleum and diesel decreases thereby preventing the depletion of natural
resources. Now automobile and automotive sector is travelling in the path of
technology driven innovation it is expected that the market of car share creates a
great impact in the economy if driverless cars and other innovations come into
existence. Less waiting time and safety plays a major role in which rideshare apps
has location tracker which is accessible for both driver and consumer. It also
discloses the details of driver while booking for the ride which builds trust in the
minds of consumer. Mode of Payment is an added advantage in the ride share
market in which also increases the use of payment channel like paytm, Gpay, etc.
