1. Introduction of MV3000
MV3000 is the mobile software that allows user to view video image from DVR, NVR, IP camera on the
smart phones. By installing the corresponding software on the smart phone, user can view live video
through Wi-Fi, 3G/4G Network.

Depending on the network situation and the kind of smart phone to be used, user can select the most
suitable connection way.

2. MV3000 for iPhone and iPad

2.1 Specification

Item specification
O/S iOS 5.0 or later
iPhone 3GS or higher
Device iPad 1 or higher
iPod Touch 4th Gen. or higher

2.2 Install MV3000 on iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad.


1) User is requested to use App Store icon in the iPhone or iPod touch, iPad.
2) Input “MV3000” on the “search box” and touch [Search] button.
After list is searched, click the icon to make sure that you have found the right software.

3) After select the MV3000 icon, tap [GET] button and then [GET] blue button will be changed to
[INSTALL] green button.
4) Tap [INSTALL] button to install MV3000 software on the iPhone.
5) After installation is completed, tap [OPEN] button or execute MV3000 icon.

2.3 Site Management

2.3.1. Site Registration

1) Tap MV3000 icon and then tap Add button ( ) to register new site.

2) Tap “Data Input Box” to call virtual keypad and input necessary information.
 Site Name : Input reference name.
 P2P : It shows using or not using of P2P.
 IP/ Address : Input IP address of the device. (ex, 123.123.123.123)
 When user connect by choosing P2P, the serial number is automatically input
into [IP/Address] by recognizing device QR code.
In case of QR code without P2P UID information, registration is not available.

 Port : Input mobile port number of DVR. (Default : 9010)


 User ID & Password : Same as registered in the device.

3) After data input is completed, tap [Save] icon ( ) to save the site information.

2.3.2. Site Modification


1) Tap the [Modify] icon ( ) of specific site to modify of site information.

2) Modify details of site information and tap [Save] icon ( ) to complete.

3) Tap the [List] icon ( ) to return to previous window.

2.3.3. Site Delete

If user want to delete a specific site, then tap [Delete] icon ( ) of selected site.

2.4 Live Monitoring

2.4.1. Live Monitoring

1) After selecting the device to connect, tap [Live] icon ( ) and then live monitoring mode is
activated.

2) If user want to change split screen mode, tap spilt screen mode ( ) icon.

2) When user rotate the device, the screen is switched as horizontal.

2.4.2. PTZ Control

1) If user control PTZ function, select the channel which is connected with PTZ camera. When the

channel connected with PTZ camera is selected, PTZ icon ( ) is automatically activated.
2) PTZ control is available on the image screen. When user drag on the image, Pan/Tilt operation
respond accordingly. With two fingers’ operation(shrink or enlarge operation), user can control
Zoom in/out function.
3) When PTZ mode is activated, preset control button ( ) is activated. After

selecting preset position and tap [Move] icon ( ), camera moves to the preset position.

4) Tap PTZ icon ( ) to exit from the PTZ mode.

Note PTZ control may not be work immediately or properly depending on the network
condition.

2.4.3. Digital Zoom

1) User can use digital zoom function on video image, even if camera is not PTZ camera.
2) Only if one screen mode (a single screen), user can use digital zoom function.
3) With two fingers operation (shrink or enlarge operation), user can operate digital zoom function.

2.4.4. Change into VOD Monitoring

During live monitoring, user can change it into VOD monitoring by tapping [VOD] icon ( ).

2.5 VOD Monitoring

2.5.1. VOD Monitoring

1) Tap [VOD Search] icon ( ) and select an appropriate site, the date and time.
2) After selecting the date and time, tap [Start Search] button and then MV3000 shows video image of
selected time.

2.5.2. Menu

During VOD Monitoring, user can use function of searching date/time, digital zoom, controlling play
speed and changing into live monitoring mode.

Searching date/time

1) Tap [Search] icon ( ) and then searching date/time window is opened.


2) After selecting the date and time, tap [Start Search] and play video image of selected time.

Digital Zoom

1) User can enlarge the video image using digital zoom function.
2) User can use digital zoom function even if camera is not PTZ camera.
3) Only if one screen mode (a single screen), user can use digital zoom function.
4) With two fingers operation (shrink or enlarge operation), user can operate digital zoom function.

Controlling Play Speed

User can control play speed by tapping [Controlling play speed] icon ( ). -8,-4,-2,1, 2, 4, 8
of play speed is supported.

Changing into Live Monitoring

During VOD monitoring, user can change it into live monitoring by tapping [Live] icon ( ).

Note If available, please use Wi-Fi network connection, instead of 3G/4G connection. 3G/4G
connection may cause heavy charges.
Please check network connection mode.

2.6 Log Search


1) User can search the event of device through MV3000. With this function, user can search current
day’s event.
2) When selecting one event of event lists, MV3000 plays video image of relevant event.

Note 1) Event log search is available only for the current day’s event.
2) If the date of the smart phone is different from the date of the device, event search may
not be available.

Note When setting <Push Notice Registration> as “register “, user’s smart phone is registerd to
the device. On the contrary, setting as “Uncheck”, registration is disselected from the device.
User should set “Registration” to utilize function of Push notice. (Reference “2.8 Push
Notification”)

2.7 Settings

In order to set option, tap [settings] icon ( ).

Software Version

User can check software version of the device.

Preroll time
When user change Live mode into VOD mode, user can set the time of preroll.
For example, if user set a preroll time as 10 minutes, MV3000 shows video image of 10 minutes
before of the current time when changing into VOD mode.

Use Audio
“Use Audio” allows user to play audio from the DVR, if the DVR has audio input.
When tapping ON/Off bar ( ), audio is played. Default is “OFF”

Use POS Display


“Use POS Display” allows user to display POS data from the device, when the POS device is
connected to particular channel.
POS display function works only in the case that there is a POS equipment that is connected to the
DVR.

Use Push Notification


“Use Push Notification” allows user to use push notification function when there is event from the
DVR.
When registering the site, user can decide whether to use push notification function. If check box in
not checked, ‘Use Push Check’ setting is deactivate in site registering screen. ( )

2.8 PUSH Notification


2.8.1. Setting on the iPhone/iPad

Setup as “Register” on the <Moblie Push>. User’s iPhone or iPad is registered in the device.

1) Go to “Network > Mobile Push” in the device menu.


2) Checking user’s iPhone or iPad is registered.
3) Choose “Use Mobile Notify” and choose the event to apply alarm function.

4) If there is event form DVR, MV3000 shows the event.


5) When tapping [실행] icon, user can connect to relevant channel as VOD mode.

2.8.3. Setting on the IP Camera

1) Go “Event > Mobile Push Video” in the menu.


2) Checking user’s iPhone or iPad is registered.
3) Choose “Use Mobile Push Video” and the event to apply alarm function.

4) If there is event from IP Camera, MV3000 shows the event.


5) When tapping [Play] icon, user can connect to IP Camera as VOD mode.

Note 1) The “Push Video Call” function works normally only if the device and iPhone/iPad are
connected to the network.
2) To use “Push Video Call”, the setting of device and iPhone/iPad is correctly.
3) In the device, the setting involved with event is setup correctly. (Alarm, Push and
recording schedule.)
4) In case of IP Camera, connection is not possible without USB memory stick or SD card.

3. MV3000 for Android

3.1 Specification

Item Specification
O/S Android 2.3 or higher
Network Wi-Fi, 3G/4G network support
Memory 2MB for software installation

3.2 Install MV3000 on the Android


1) Execute Play Store (Google Market) on main window.
2) Input “MV3000” in search box and tap the App icon to make sure that user have found the right
software.

3) Tap [Install] icon to start the download of MV3000.

4) Execute MV3000 by tapping the MV3000 icon in main screen and make sure that installation is
completed.

Note MV3000 can be installed through Play Store only.

3.3 Site Management

3.3.1. Site Registration


1) Tap MV3000 icon and then tap [ADD] icon ( ) to register new site.

2) In “Data Input Box”, input necessary information to register the site. When input is completed, tap
[SAVE] icon at the top of right.

 Site Name : Input reference name.


 P2P : It shows using or not using of P2P.
 IP/ Address : Input IP address of the device. (ex, 123.123.123.123)
 If you want to connect through P2P, the serial number of the device is
automatically input in IP/Address blank by recognizing QR code.
In case of QR code not having P2P UID information, registration is not
available.

 Port : Input mobile port of DVR. (Default is 9010)


 User ID & Password : Input same as registered in the device.

3.3.2. Site Modification

1) To modify site information, tap [Modify] icon ( ) to approach to modify mode.

2) After modifying site information, tap [Save] icon ( ) to save modification.

3.3.3. Site Delete

After selecting the site to delete, tap [Delete] icon ( ) to delete.

3.4 Live Monitoring


3.4.1. Live Monitoring

1) After selecting the device to connect, tap [Live] icon ( ) and then live monitoring mode is
activated.

2) If user want to change split screen mode, tap spilt screen mode icon ( ).

3) If user rotate device to one side, it’s switched to width screen mode.

4) User can select the channel by touching and sliding your finger on the screen (swype).
5) Split screen mode is changed to one screen mode by double touching the screen.

6) If user want to exit from Live mode, touch ‘back’ button ( ) of [list] ( ) icon.

3.4.2. Change into VOD Monitoring


User can change to VOD monitoring mode by touching [VOD] icon ( ).

3.4.3. PTZ Control

1) If user control PTZ function, select the channel which is connected with PTZ camera. When the

channel connected with PTZ camera is selected, PTZ icon ( ) is automatically activated.
2) PTZ control is available on the image screen. When user drag on the image, Pan/Tilt operation
respond accordingly. With two fingers’ operation(shrink or enlarge operation), user can control

3) When PTZ mode is activated, preset control button ( )is activated. After

selecting preset position and tap [Move] icon ( ), camera moves to the preset position.

4) Tap PTZ icon ( ) to exit from the PTZ mode.

3.5 VOD Monitoring

3.5.1. VOD Monitoring

1) Tap [VOD Search] icon ( ) and select an appropriate site.


2) Selec date and time to search and touch [OK] button.

3.5.2. Menu

1) Tap [Search] icon ( ) and then searching date/time window is opened.

2) User can control play speed by tapping [Controlling play speed] icon ( ).

3) During VOD monitoring, user can change it into live monitoring by tapping [Live] icon ( ).

3.6 Log Search


1) User can search the event of device through MV3000. With this function, user can search current
day’s event.
2) When selecting one event of event lists, MV3000 plays video image of relevant event.

Note ) Event log search is available only for the current day’s event.
2) If the date of the smart phone is different from the date of the device, event search may
not be available.

3.7 Settings

In order to set option, tap [settings] icon ( ).

Software Version
User can check software version of the device.

Preroll time
When user change Live mode into VOD mode, user can set the time of preroll.
For example, if user set a preroll time as 10 minutes, MV3000 shows video image of 10 minutes
before of the current time when changing into VOD mode.

Use Audio
“Use Audio” allows user to play audio from the DVR, if the DVR has audio input.
When tapping ON/Off bar ( ), audio is played. Default is “OFF”

Use POS Display


“Use POS Display” allows user to display POS data from the device, when the POS device is
connected to particular channel.
POS display function works only in the case that there is a POS equipment that is connected to the
DVR.

Use Push Notification


“Use Push Notification” allows user to use push notification function when there is event from the
DVR.
When registering the site, user can decide whether to use push notification function. If check box in
not checked, ‘Use Push Check’ setting is deactivate in site registering screen. ( )

Use screen stretch


“Use screen stretch” ( ) is showed full screen without blank using Android.

Deactivate Activate

Note If available, please use Wi-Fi network connection, instead of 3G/4G connection. 3G/4G

connection may cause heavy charges.


Please check network connection mode.

3.8 PUSH Notification


3.8.1. Setting on the Android

Setup as “Register” on the <Moblie Push>. User’s Android phone is registered in the device.

3.8.2. Setting on the DVR

1) Go to “Network > Mobile Push” in the device menu.


2) Checking user’s iPhone or iPad is registered.
3) Choose “Use Mobile Notify” and choose the event to apply alarm function.

4) If there is event form DVR, MV3000 shows the event


5) When tapping [Play] icon, user can connect to relevant channel as VOD mode.

1) Go “Event > Mobile Push Video” in the menu.


2) Checking user’s iPhone or iPad is registered.
3) Choose “Use Mobile Push Video” and the event to apply alarm function.

4) If there is event from IP Camera, MV3000 shows the event.


5) When tapping [Play] icon, user can connect to IP Camera as VOD mode.

Note 1) The “Push Video Call” function works normally only if the device and Android phone are
connected to the network.
2) To use “Push Video Call”, the setting of device and Android phone is correctly.
3) In the device, the setting involved with event is setup correctly. (Alarm, Push and
recording schedule.)
4) In case of IP Camera, connection is not possible without USB memory stick or SD card.

3.9 Q & A
Q : Can not watch the video after connecting.
1) When the router, which is connected to DVR, is setup as worng port, video transmission is not
possible. So please checking the router’s setting.
2) The number of connection is limited for DVR’s stable record. Try again after disconnecting other
connection.
3) If user register mobile port on site registering, user can not watch the video.
MV3000’s user is able to monitoring by using basic port.

Q : The video is not clear.


1) DVR transmit the video as encoded. It needs lots of calculators for decoding, the video may be not
clear.
2) In case of network status is inferior, the smart phone is hard to receive lots of data. So the video is
not clear.
