1 DAQMaster (mobile) Overview

1.1 Overview
You can use DAQMaster at your smart phone.
Parameter read/write and I/O run time screen for Autonics RS485 communication devices are
available at your smart phone.
Search as below to download at each operation systems.
Android (Google Play Store): DAQMaster
iOS (App Store): DAQMaster

- Pictures/Movies/Files: Accesses to photo shoots and album.
- Wi-Fi connections: Available to use all internet functions.

2 Connection
Due to DAQMaster (mobile) connection method, the available function and the supported
deivces are different.

Run DAQMaster (mobile) and Project List appears. Touch the icon you can select one
connection method; New project, direct connect, and DAQMaster connect.

2.1.2 WiFi or USB connection settings


When adding devices, set the WiFi or USB connection.
(1) WiFi connection
Set IP, Port.

(2) USB connection (only for Android)


Set Baudrate, Data Bit, Stop Bit, Parity Bit, Flow Control.

iOS is not supported.

2.2 DAQMaster
DAQMaster

DAQMaster Pro becames TCP/IP server and you can check the monitoring data at the
DAQMaster Mobile. It supports over DAQMaster Pro: v 3.
For more information, refer to the DAQMaster user manual.

The supported devices for DAQMaster Pro are available to monitor the data.
Refer to the DAQMaster user manual.

3.1 Project

3.1.1 Initial screen


Project is listed at initial screen.

3.1.2 Add

Touch the icon of project list: initial screen and select the connection method to add
project. (example of new project)

For more each connection method information, refer to ‘2 Connection’.

3.1.3 Delete
Left swipe the project to be deleted and the icon appears. Touch this icon and the
project is deleted.

3.2 Menu
Touch the icon of project list: initial screen to enter menu.

The information of this application is displayed.

3.2.2 DAQMaster Notification (only for Android)


This feature is only when DAQMaster Pro and DAQMaster application are connected at the
same Wi-Fi.
Reading/Checking the notification of DAQMaster Pro is available.
Set the DAQMaster Pro Push Server function. Refer to the DAQMaster user manual.
Connect the DAQMaster Pro at Setting - Notification - Register to set device name, DAQMaster
IP.

iOS is not supported.

3.3 Language
Language is available to change. Enter Setting-Language. (supported language: English,
Korean)

4.1 Connect Devices

4.1.1 Add & Link


This function is available only for new project and direct connect.

1st Enter the project, touch the icon to enter the menu.

2nd Touch the Device icon of the menu and select the desired device at the
supported device list.

3rd Set the device connection, add the Station and touch Add Device
button. (for more information about connection refer to ‘2 Connection’.)
The added device on project menu appears.

4th Select the device to be linked and touch the Link icon of the menu. The

connected device appears and the Link icon changes to the Unlink icon.

4.1.2 Auto scan


Within the set search range the Modbus device which supports DAQMaster (mobile) is
automatically scanned and added.

1st Enter the project, touch the icon to enter the menu.

2nd Touch the Auto Scan button.

3rd Set the station search range start-end of the device and communications. Touch the
Scan Start button to start scan.

4th The scanned device list appears. Select the device and touch the Add Device
button to add the device.

4.1.3 Modified device connection setting or delete device


Touch and hold the device at My System and select the Modify or Delete
menu.

Left swipe the device to be deleted at My System and the icon appears. Touch this icon
and the device is deleted. (only when it is not linked status.)

4.2 Device monitoring

For monitoring the linked devcie, touch the Run icon of the menu.

When it is running, the Run icon is changed to the Stop icon.

4.3 Parameter read/write


This application is available to read/write parameters of the linked/run devices. This function is
available only for new project and direct connect.
(1) Read all registed devices parameters
Touch the Read All button to read all registed devices at once.

(2) Read each device parameters


1st Touch the linked device at menu and My System, it enters the work space of the
device.

2nd Click the All icon of the parameter tab, it reads all parameters of the device.

3rd Touch the parameter to set, it enters to the parameter setting screen. Enter the
desired value and touch the Change Value button.

4th You can check the changed value.

4.4 Add run time screen and run


This application is available to monitor the data to add the run time screen of the linked/run
device I/O.
Only when device monitoring is stop run time screen is available to add.

1st Select the I/Os to monitor at ‘I/O’ tab. The run time screen icon appears with
the number of added I/Os.

2nd Enter run time screen icon and enter the run time screen setting.
Set/Select the run time screen name, interval, type, and the desired I/O. Touch the
Add RunTime button.

3rd Run the device by touching the Run icon of the menu or touching the Run
button of the work space.
4th Select the desired run time screen. The run time screen appears.

Delete run time screen


Touch and hold the to be deleted run time screen and the confirmation window appears.

4.5 Save project

Touch the Save icon and the project is saved.

4.6 Close project

Touch the Close icon and the project is closed and the project list screen appears.
