SUBJECT (What is the topic or situation to be dealt about?)

Educational Technology 2 is all about the integration of technology in the teaching and learning
process. This encompasses the teaching and sharing to the students the knowledge and skills to become
better technology learners. This would help students prepare themselves as future teachers in adapting
technological changes.

EXPERIENCE (Share an experience that relates you to the subject)

When I was in high school, the only subject that integrates technology in my learning is “Computer.”
Now that I’m in college already, almost every subject makes use of technology that I as a student needed to
learn for almost all of my subjects requires the use of technology in every reporting or activity that is asked
to be done. So, to be more knowledgeable in using technology, I always make sure of making use of it
during my reporting or any other activities that we are asked to do so.
RESPONSE (What have you learn from such experience)
I guess without technology integration to my teachers’ teaching today, instructional process would
really take time. For me, technology has helped me coped with the kind of education I am having today. I
also have become a better learner, developed skills I never think I would ever developed and have learned
how to use several software which I think would be very helpful in my teaching later.

INTROSPECTION (Reflect on your response)

Technology for me is very helpful especially on our generation today but we must consider that its
helpfulness depends on the appropriateness of its usage. No matter how sophisticated and how proven a
certain technology is, the extent of its help still depends on its usage because “no size fits all.” So, as a future
teacher, technology must not be use just for convenience but must bear in mind that technology is used in
education to make teaching and learning better.

FUTURE ACTION (Relate what will you do next as a learner, teacher or as individual)
I will give my best shot upon learning this subject and put it into heart so that when I become a teacher
in the near future, I would be able to apply all the things I learned and be able to impart all my knowledge. I
know few years from now, our technology will even upgrade more. With that, I would be able then to adapt
the technological changes our society brings and would be able to integrate these changes during my class.
