CRANE OPERATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Crane should be positioned on firm and level ground with wood pads and steel plates.
2. Outriggers has to be fully extended.
3. Tires needs tone off grounded.
4. Certificate operator and rigger should be available.
5. Safe load indicator is working (inspection phase), the check list is filled with competent person.
6. Crane has a valid inspection sticker.
7. Ensure Insurance and third party certificate is being taken and the loads weight is confirmed.
8. Safety devices are not bypassed, the swing arm radius is barricaded.
9. Area is barricaded.
10. The lifting tools are free from defects, pads are used to protect the slings from load.
11. Wind speed is less than 32kmh while operation.
12. Approved lifting plan is available for lifting equipment.
13. Permits for the activity is obtained.
14. Crane operators and riggers vision is not obstructed, the load is well balanced.
15. Tag lines are used to control the weight etc.
16. Ensure operator is fully competent.
17. During operation ensure everyone is well aware about operational situation.
18. Ensure all its component are certified and inspected.
19. After finishing operation ensure all part are normal if any defect notice management has to be
informed.
20. Ensure weight should not be exceeded by its limit.
