Are there double guard rails and toe boards, or
05 other suitable protection, to prevent falling?
Are working platforms fully boarded and are the
06 boards arranged to avoid tripping & falling?
Are there effective barriers/ warning notices in
place to stop people using an incomplete
07 scaffold?
Is the scaffold able to hold four times its
08 maximum intended load?
Have all the compounds been inspected for
defects such as broken welds, corroded members
09 and missing locks & dented tubes?
Are all braces, bearers and clamps secured, all
10 section pinned or appropriately secured?
Is there a safe way to get on and off the scaffold,
11 such as ladder( without climbing on cross braces)?
Does the scaffold meet electrical safety clearance
11 distance?
Are hard hats worn by workers in and around the
12 scaffold?
Does a competent person inspect the scaffold
13 regularly?
14 Are the results of the inspection recorded?
Have the wheels of mobile scaffold locked when
in use and the platforms empty when they are
16 moved?
