MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF BARANGAY 02- LAURETA, SOLSONA,
ILOCOS NORTE HELD IN ITS SESSION HALL AT 2:00 O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON.

CALL TO ORDER:
The Punong Barangay fomally open the 23rd Regular Session at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon
and greeted the audience with a warm greetings. Barangay Secretaryiu led the prayer. Afterwhich, the
Secretary took the attendance, and as follows:

Also present during the session are the Lupong Taga-pamayapa Members and
Mr.Arnel Carino , Farmers association President

The Secretary read the minutes on the last session. There was no correction, addendum,
deletion nor interpellation, then Kagawad Vicente moved for the approval and adoption and duly
seconded by Kagawad Fernando

NEW BUSINESS FOR THE DAY:

1st Reading of Proposed ORDINANCES/RESOLUTIONS:

A RESOLUTION INTERPOSING NO OBJECTION TO PUT UP A GASOLINE STATION OWNED BY CHARLES A.

CURAMENG TO BE PUT UP IN BARANGAY 2 LAURETA, SOLSONA ILOCOS NORTE.
 2nd Reading of Proposed ORDINANCES/RESOLUTIONS

A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR OF SOLSONA TO ALLOCATE FUNDS

FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC COMFORT ROOM/ TOILET AND OTHER APPURTENACES WITHIN
THE VICINITY AT THE CEMETERY AT BARANGAY 02-LAURETA, SOLSONA, ILOCOS NORTE

MESSAGES AND COMMUNICATIONS:

A verbal communication from BHW President, Mrs. Rona V. Benito regarding the basic training
for new members of the BHW and the said training will be attended by Mrs. Maribel Aggarao so that she
will be considered full pledge BHW and to be accompanied by Mrs. Federica Samoza.

Another communication from the Chief Tanod, Mr. Francisco Bartolome regarding the activity
that they will be attending with the Kagawad Committee on Peace and Order and our Punong Barangay
at Laoag City Sports Arena, by Mr. Renato “BATO” Dela Rosa.

Another communication from the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office thru our
Municipal Mayor Alexander Calucag,reagarding the “HANDOG TITULO PROGRAM” in line with this
program of the DENR is to boost the government’s public service on land distribution program. It is a
program for social upliftment and security of tenure to the citizenry. In line with this they are
encouraging individuals with NO ORIGINAL TITLE YET TO AVAIL OF THE FREE SURVEY FOR LOTS ZONED
WITHIN THE RESIDENTIAL AREA.

Requirements to avail for the free survey are as followas:

1. Lots are zoned within the Residential and duly certified by the Municipal Planning and
Development Officer (MPDO)
2. With house/structure built thereon
3. Free from claims and conflicts duly certified by the Court and Barangay Chairman
4. Proof of Ownership ( Deed of Sale, Deed of Partition and Deed of adjudication
5. Latest Tax Declaration

PETITION AND MEMORIALS:

Review of Legislative Acts from Barangay Kagawad:
None
COMMITTEE REPORT:

Chairman of the Committee On Finance and Appropriation, as of November 23, 2018, Cash on Bank
amounting to two million fifty-five thousand five hundred hundred eighty pesos and eighty seven
centavos (2,055,580.87 pesos)

The Chairman Committee on Health,reported that with regards to the result of the ocular inspection
conducted by our Municipal Sanitary Health Officer together with the barangay officials, it will be
forwarded thru letter in our Barangay.

For the Chairman Committee on Education, Solsona Central Elem. School was the overall champion for
Youth First Aid Challenge 2018 with the theme “F irst Aid for a Safer Future” held at Laoag City Sporst
Arena last November 24, 2018

The Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture reported that all the beneficiaries for the crop
insurance whose ricefields were damaged by typhoon Ompong already claimed..

For Committee on Infrastructure reported that the cementing and rip-rapping of the farm to market
road located at sitio de lara almost done.

Chairman Committee on Peace and Order reported that the seminar they attended at Laoag Sports
Arena conducted by Bato Dela Rosa was all about anti-drugs campaign.

Chairman Committee on Laws reported that there are some individuals who are doing illegal fishing in
our barangay rivers.

For Committee on Youth and Sports Development, SK Chairman proudly informed everybody that they
garnered the Best in Uniform and Best Muse during the Opening of the Inter-Barangay Basketball and
Volleyball tournament.,And he beg to all the Barangay officials to please continue supporting our players
so that we can bring back the champion title in our barangay.

DISTRICT REPORT
1….Kagawad Vicente reported that at last a little portion of the street near the house of former Kagawad
Bartolome already cemented
4….Kagawad castueras reported the collection of garbage at Solsona Central elementary School is not
being followed by the Municipal Garbage collector which is Friday.
5………Kagawad Sacro reported the streetlight near the house of the late Belbel Cayetano not working.

CHAIRMAN’S TIME:
P/B reiterated that our Barangay Salu Salo will be on December 22, 2018…and to all Kagawads
kindly inform all the constituents in the district you are assigned to, request to them any food they can
afford for the Salu-Salo and this will be open for everybody. There will be one table each designated in
every district.And on our Salu-Salo Program on December 22, 2018 the program will immediately start
at 7:00 PM sharp with or without barangay officials or even we only have small number of viewers and
please scout now for our candidates for the incoming Gameng Festival and our 2019 Gameng Festival is
Scheduled January 22-27, 2018.Candidates that were suggested for our Incoming gameng Festival are
Ms. Angel Vicente, Ms. Briana Pastor, Ms. Carmela Monique Cabang and Ms. Beverly Sacro ,Hope and
pray that one of them will say “YES”

OTHER MATTTERS:
The P/B suggested that since there is no result yet to the pigpen ocular inspection that was
conducted ,while waiting for the result since we are receiving so many complaints regarding odorous
pigpens lets conduct another ocular inspection on December 5, 2018 at 5-7 PM and meeting place
Barangay hall. To all Barangay officials please cooperate.
One thing more P/B mandate Kagawad Eddie E. Fernando to please monitor the schedule of
garbage collection at Solsona Central Elem. School to avoid any problem to arise regarding garbage
collection.
Also P/B suggested to Kagawad Committee on peace and Order please do continue conducting
Ronda specially this yuletide season.
