We’ve got a lot of people in the house. My grandparents

from Brazil are here because it’s my grandfather’s birthday.
He’s seventy today. His name’s Gabriel and he’s in England
for two weeks with my grandma, Mariana. Mariana is sixty-
three and she’s really cool. Music is a big thing in her life and
she’s really good at the guitar. Her favourite band is The Rolling Stones.
She’s also a very good guitar teacher. My dad’s sister, Angela, and her
husband, Alan, have got two children – a son, Bruno, and a daughter
called Carla. Uncle Alan is from Scotland, but he can speak Portuguese.
Alan and my cousin, Bruno, have got kilts for the birthday party – (a kilt
is a Scottish skirt for boys). I haven’t got a kilt (phew!) – just my black
trousers and a new white shirt.
Have you got a big family? Leave a comment.
