Good day.

I would like to request to be allowed to work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Currently, I am battling against meningitis, an inflammation of the layers of the tissue that cover the
brain and spinal cord (meninges). This is a complication of my systemic lupus erythematosus, a
chronic autoimmune disorder wherein my immune system creates antibodies that attack and destroy
healthy tissues.

As advised by my personal doctor, I need to take rest to maximize the effect of the drugs
I’m currently taking. But given the expenses of medication, and preparation to progressive health
complications, I cannot leave my post as Marketing Assistant.

That is why, I’m asking for your approval to not report at office on aforementioned days, to
give more time on my medication. Rest assured that I will still perform my functions to the best
way possible even out of office.
