MY FATHER’S

TRAGEDY

By: Carlos Bolosan

Analysis

- For the motivation of the story, for me, as a man and a future husband,
If I were the husband, I will do anything just to keep my family safe and I
will do everything just to give them food, water and shelter. Unlike the
father in the story. I know in the future that I will be a husband someday,
I promised to myself that my family is my first priority. I wouldn’t let
anything get in my way in giving my family a great life.

- I’d like to say something about the climax of the story. The mother
should have told or give her husband some knowledge first about Brucio
before she cooked it. So that their conflict about her husband’s laziness
and his fighting cock couldn’t get bigger.
