Structure, function description, section
Structure:
The valve consists of 3 main component groups:
• Housing (1) with main spool (2)
• Integrated electronics with inductive transducer (3) of main
stage
• Pilot control valve (4) with spool sleeve unit (5),
inductive transducer (6) and pressure return for neutral
setting of main spool (2)

Function description:
• With proportional solenoid (7,8) at rest, neutral position of main Interruption of supply voltage:
spool (2) through centralising spring (9) and pressure return • Integrated electronics switches the solenoid off when supply
• Control of main spool (2) via the pilot control valve (4) - the main voltage is interrupted or with cable break
spool is positioned in closed loop control • Independent pressure control on same level in the control
• Control of spool of pilot control valve (4) through alteration of chambers (10 and 11) through the pilot control valve
solenoid force of proportional solenoid (7,8) • When pressure supply is interrupted centralising of main
• Connection of command and actual values in the integrated spool by centralising spring (9) occurs
control electronics • Neutral position of main spool (2)
• Pilot oil supply to pilot control valve internally via port P or
externally via port X Warning: The interruption of supply voltage leads to abrupt
Pilot oil drain internally via port T or externally via Y to tank standstill of the control axis.
• When command value is at 0 V the electronics moves the main The accelerations occurring may cause machine
spool (2) into neutral position damage.
Valves with the spool symbol "V" do not align
accurately in the hydraulic neutral position!
