An education in theatre prepared me to work collaboratively with various individuals and personalities. I
learned to react quickly and creatively to sudden obstacles and problems with urgency and self-initiative.
My work as a college professor and instructional designer have given me experience on how to inspire
curiosity in young people. I am a clear and effective communicator, especially in writing.

EXPERIENCE
JUNE - AUGUST 2019
YOUTH SERVICES INTERN, CLEVELAND PUBLIC LIBRARY
During my internship I programmed and ran storytimes for children and families, planned and
implemented children’s crafts, weeded the department collection, and ordered new material for
the collection.

2018 - PRESENT
LIBRARY ASSISTANT COMPUTER EMPHASIS, CLEVELAND PUBLIC LIBRARY
As a LACE I assist all of our patrons who need help using library computers and printers. I manage
the branch’s 3D printer and teach patrons about this exciting technology. I also create STEAM
related programs for young library patrons and provide excellent customer service for everyone
who visits.

2017 - 2018
LIBRARY ASSISTANT SUBSTITUTE, CLEVELAND PUBLIC LIBRARY
As an LA substitute I provided excellent customer service at any CPL branch or department that
needed coverage for absent staff members, including circulation, reference, and aid on
computers.

2016 - 2017
CONTENT DEVELOPER, TOOLING U - SME
As a content developer I researched manufacturing practices and created online teaching
modules for people working in manufacturing.
