Pinnacle Food’s (PF) existing Marketing monthly forecast is the product of two distinct external data sources, multiple
meetings with management, subsequent revisions to forecast, and finally presentation to upper level management through a
standard report format
This project’s approach is to create an automated, non – excel centric data collection, calculation, and reporting tool that
uses Oracle Essbase as the core of the forecasting process. This database approach will result in forecasting spending less
time collecting and manipulating data and instead will analyze data and trends.
