Project 1:

Account: One of leading Banking firm in New York, USA.

Working as a Senior Associate (BI) since 2 Years as a single MSBI resource. Here I
am responsible to create multiple SSIS packages based on their need and successfully
migrated all SSIS packages from Brownfield to Greenfield. I have successfully
completed my work appreciated by client multiple times.

Responsibilities
 I am responsible to create new SSIS packages and migrate all existing SSIS
packages and Config files from Brownfield to Greenfield.
 I have created multiple SSIS packages for EDS off boarding for Account,
Security and Transaction modules.

Client uses Value Aligned Performance Management Tool to assist Finance team and
bank executives to generate report on Sales, Customer information, Portfolio and
performance of Relationship executives. It measures how much value a customer
brings to bank across the whole range of products and services offered by the bank.
The major components are Customer Information Management System (CIMS),
Target management system (TMS), Manual Journal Capture System (MJCS), Daily
Balance Sheet and Weekly Balance sheet.

Responsibilities

In this Banking project the data flows from mainframe to the oracle. Through SSIS
packages the data is loaded to the SQL server database. We create the reports using
SSRS so that Stakeholders or the end users can view the reports available to the
testers using SSAS for analysis and testing purpose.

 Month-End activity is the process of extracting information prepared by the

RBB database work stream team, transforming the raw data into a standard

 format, applying business rules and SSIS packages and forms the base of all
monthly financial reporting.
 Once the main mart is loaded several downstream systems are then loaded
using this main mart as source, in addition SSAS Cubes are constructed from
this mart for financial incremental data from the source system.
 Scheduling the jobs and fix them in case of failure.
 Working on various incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements.

Client is a leading supplier of consumer and professional house wares, small-wares,

bath, furniture slip covers and electric products to the retail, and hospitality sectors
in North America. So here we have details regarding Sales and Sales Order database.
We fetch details of sales orders and generate a daily flash report division wise.

Responsibilities
 Fetch data from multiple sources like oracle database and excel files.
 Manipulation on those data based on business requirements and load into the
Staging database using scripts.
 Finally load it into the DW as a Dimensions and Facts.
 Calculated Total Invoiced, Shipped Value, Lines Shipped, Units Shipped
values division wise.
 Created Dimension and Facts for Sales module.
 Created systems for capturing error data in flat file using flat file destination,
sending the error data in flat file attached to the corresponding mail ids using
Sent Mail Task, and correcting error data.
 Generated Daily Flash report for products.

Project 4:

Client: Leading public sector bank in South Asia Oct 2014 –

The objective of the ETL process is to provide a framework for data load from source
repositories into the warehouse that can be used for generating reports. The required
data is pulled from the sources and the transformations like duplicates check and
aggregations based on General Ledger, Branch, Trading Instrument or Banking
Product and Date are performed. Risk Engine is the component that would be used
for calculating the Credit, Market and Operational risks. The warehouse database will

be the input for risk calculation. Reports pull data from Risk aggregated DB and
warehouse DB. The reports are deployed to report server.

Staging database using scripts.

Business intelligence & data warehouse project consists of many source systems, and
pulling those data and created facts and Dimensions for Insurance domain using
InsFocus tool. It is structured on a task-based approach, where every task represents
a single action which is part of the ETL process, and is written as a SSIS (Microsoft
SQL Server Integration Services) package. A hierarchy of tasks and packages builds
a whole ETL session, where we loaded data from 9 sources and transform.

Responsibilities
 Fetch data from multiple sources and Excels etc.
 Manipulation on those data based on business requirements and load into the
Staging database using scripts.
 Finally loaded it into the DW as a Dimensions and Facts.
 Created Items, Dimensions and Facts using InsFocus for generating reports.
 Created sample reports using InsFocus BI client tool.

Client: One of major Insurance firm in India Aug 2010 – Aug

2011
Place: Unisys India Pvt Ltd.
Role: Team Member

SSIS package is developed for migrating data from flat files, which are generated
from OPS (Order Processing System) to DW database with new schema design. The
data should be validated before migrating, to ensure data integrity and to eliminate
redundant data. OPS system is the source for flat files generation, and generated flat

files need to be copied to network shared folder. Our new system should process the
flat files data and store it in new schema of DW database.

Responsibilities

 Implementation and delivery of MSBI platform solutions to develop and

deploy ETL, reporting on SQL Server 2008 using SSRS.
 Developed, deployed and monitored SSIS Packages for new ETL Processes
and upgraded the existing DTS packages to SSIS for the on-going ETL
Processes.
 Monitored Full/Incremental/Daily Loads and support all scheduled ETL jobs
for batch processing.
 Used transformations like Derive Column, Conditional Split, Aggregate, Row
Count, and sort and execute SQL Task to load data into Data Warehouse.
