LCSMC CWA Fellowship of the Least Coin
1Tm 3:1-13; Lk 7:11-17

W hen Jesus walked on earth, He worked great miracles to

help all with problems. In today’s Gospel, Jesus and His
disciples are walking toward Nain. He met a funeral procession
and felt much love and compassion for the mother whose son
died.
He consoled the woman saying, “Do not weep.” Then He
resurrected the son and returned him to his mother. In awe and
wonder the people exclaimed, “God has visited His people!”
Don’t you wish Jesus walked on earth today? Wish no more!
He certainly does as the Church, His Body, the assembly of all
baptized children of God.
There are many Church ministries and charities continuing
Jesus’ works of mercy. When we join or contribute to one, we
become Jesus’ disciples walking with Him, hearts pumping His M embers of the UCCP Cosmopolitan Church Christian Wom-
