Objective: Disprove the theory that maggots could be spontaneously generated from meat using a controlled

experiment.

CONCL
USION:

Within four days, the fruit inside is slowly changing it's physical appearance. From being fresh, it rots and changed it's smell by just staying inside the different ki
d of jars. We have observed that the jar without cover has the most rotten fruit, and it's the reason why the fruit changed so fast because it's unsealed so
anything can come inside the jar. The only fruit who has a growth of maggots is the open jar or the uncovered one so we therefore coclude that maggots will
grow in an open jar so our observation agrees with Spontaneous Generation.
1. What is a controlled experiment?

2. What are the manipulated variables in the experiment?

Why do you observe growth of fungi in all setups after several days of the experiment?
