1. A student carries out an experiment to study the relationship between the average
velocity of trolley, v and the height of the trolley on the inclined plane from the floor,h.
Seorang murid menjalankan satu eksperimen untuk mengkaji hubungan antara halaju
purata troli,v dengan ketinggian troli atas landasan daripada permukaan lantai,h.

Arrangement of the experiment is shown in Diagram 1.1.


The frequency of ticker timer is 50 Hz.

The height of the trolley is started with h = 10 cm. 10 ticks is choosed from the centre of
the ticker tape to calculate the average velocity as shown in Diagram 1.2.
The experiment is repeated by using different heights of the trolley, h = 20.0 cm, 30.0
cm, 40.0 cm and 50.0 cm.
Each section of 10 ticks from the centre of ticker tapes obtained is shown in the Diagram
1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 on pages 3 and 4.

Ketinggian troli dimulai dengan h = 10 cm. 10 detik dipilih daripada bahagian tengah
pita detik untuk menghitung halaju purata seperti dalam Rajah 1.2.
Eksperimen diulang dengan menggunakan ketinggian troli yang berbeza, h = 20.0 cm,

2. A student carries out an experiment to investigate the relationship between the


potential difference, 𝑉 and current, 𝐼 of a conductor with diameter, 𝑑 = 0.5 cm.
The result of this experiment is shown in the graph of 𝑉 against 𝐼 in Diagram
2.1 on page 9.

Seorang pelajar telah menjalankan satu eksperimen untuk mengkaji hubungan


antara beza keupayaan, 𝑉 dan arus, 𝐼 menggunakan konduktor berdiameter,

4 Diagram 4.1 shows a pattern of water ripples when two fishing floats attached to
fishing lines float on water. Diagram 4.2 shows the pattern of water ripple when
two fishing lines is further apart. They noticed that when the distance of both fish
hooks is further, the distance between rippled water become decrease.

Rajah 4.1 menunjukkan corak riak air apabila dua pelampung diikat kepada tali
joran. Rajah 4.2 menunjukkan corak riak air apabila dua tali jorandijarakkan
lebih jauh antara satu sama lain. Mereka mendapati apabila jarak di antara dua
