Work Immersion
In this work I am the one who greet the guest, saying the colonial greetings and also I am the
one who lead them to the table.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
In this work you need to be patient. Because in 8 hrs you are standing. You need to smile to the
guest even your legs are already painful. Patience is a virtue.
In bar. All day, all I do is to make halo-halo, shakes and juices. And I am the one who get the
order that is needed to be serve.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
In every work you need to be flexible. You should also know multi- tasking.

In this job. We are just going to assist those employees if they need our help especially in pick
hours.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
Try to initiate even if they don’t need your help, as a worker it is one most important
characteristics that we must apply in our duties.
In this job, I am the one who check if the ordered food/s are already given. And I am the one
who tell the (Barista) that they need to follow up the foods. For us to know how many minutes the food
to be serve.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
Be attentive. Again in this job you will apply multi- tasking. And also you need to be humble
because some of the guest are easily get irritated.

In this work. I am the one who refill the water and also the soup. I am the one who bass out the
plates and clean the table.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
Be careful in serving the guest. And also in carrying the used plates because it is very heavy.
All day. We only wash the dishes coming from the dinning. And also the employee teach us the
proper way of washing the dish.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
You need to work faster as you can specially if pick hours because we receive many dishes that is
needed to be wash.

In this job they teach me how to plating. Before plating you need to check the taste, the smell
and the texture of the food. And before serving it check first if you already plate it properly.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
You need to be creative when it comes in plating. Because you are going to apply your creativity
skills in especially in designing.
They teach me the proper way of chopping the ingredients. They also teach me how to make a
sweet potato flakes.

NUMBER OF HOURS ON DUTY: 8hrs
In this job one of the employee teach me on how put the stock properly into the freezer. They
teach me how to inventory. And also how to make calamares.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
Check properly the expiration date of the food. Before giving it to the cook. Make sure that the
stock is not contaminated.
In this job. I help the pantry, DJ, Fried Grill and Freezer man. I only assist them because I already
went to the all of the stations.
MY LEARNING INSIGHTS:
In every job we gain knowledge. And try to apply it in our daily life. Because knowledge is
power.
