COMMENTS

Professor Andres Montaño does not allow me to observe his English class. I wrote him an
email some days before the observation and he told me that on August 21st, I had to introduce
myself to the classroom, to talk about my teaching experience and personal information. He wanted
to give the first class on the day of the observation. Besides, he wanted me to present some general
ground rules of the English class, and to present the goals and expectations from the practicum. Even
I express him I needed to observe how students behave during one English class, he does not accept
the permission to do so. Due to this during this hour, I tried to know students, introduce myself and
talk about some important points to consider during the English course. It was an informal first day
of the practicum.
