1.0 Introduction

In our daily life we’re always getting exposed to danger

without knowing when it will hurt us.When we are doing jobs in
the workshop,the potential of being in dangerous is highest than
doing jobs in others location.That’s why we need to make sure
to follow every safety precautions and rules in order to avoid
any bad circumstances such as accident.There are 3 most
important safety precautions we need to follow which is
personal safety,tools safety and environment safety.
2.1 Personal Safety

-Safety
glasses with side shields or goggles are to be worn at all
times while in the shop. Bring your own glasses.

-Don’t wear neck ties,lanyard and loose fitting clothe when

working in the shop.

-No open toe shoes or sandals allowed in shop.Safety boot is the

suitable footwear as it is hard and can protect our toes from
danger.

-Don’t wear rings,watches,bracelets,or other jewelry that could

get caught in moving machinery.

-Wear shirts or upper with sleeves rolled above the elbow.

-Keep your hairs short.

-Behave and do not playing in a workshop.

2.2 Tools Safety

-Keep away from others when they are doing cutting process.

-Keep machine and its surrounding clean.

-Keep hands and tools wiped clean and free of dirt,oil and
grease.Dry tools are safer than slippery tools.

-Check the machine or tools before using.Make sure it is safe to

be use.

-Put the tools back at it place after using it.

2.3 Environment Safety

-Make sure the workplace has a proper layout.

-Make sure the workplace has good lighting and ventilation.

-Clean the workplace thoroughly after work is completed.

- Ensure the exhaust fan is always on while working.

-Windows should be open while performing tasks.

3.0 CONCLUSION
In the end of this safety report we need to make sure to follow
each 3 safety precautions and rules.We also need to use the
machine and tools carefully and clean it up after use so we will
not hurt ourselves and the others.Clean environment can help us
to do job better.Not to forget a lot of appreciation to our lecturer
En.Haji Hazril and Pn.Noridah for guiding us in this workshop
practice.
