Overall Outline of the Project Feasibility

1. Summary of the Project

A. Name of the Business

The name of the business is TUBE BIG with a tag line “ Your partner against flood.”

B. Location

I. Head Office & Factory Site

The head office and factory site is located at Molino-Paliparan road Molino I, Bacoor Cavite.

II. Store Location

The store is located inside SM City Bacoor, ground floor, in front of St. Paul boutique. We will be

rent a kiosk space.

C. Brief Description of the Project

This project is establishing a non-food product with an objective to be a product that gives

assistance to the fellow Caviteño in times of calamity. In this project, Tube-Big will provide a

quality flood sucker with a price that every Caviteño can afford.

D. Executive Summary

I. Technical Feasibility

The product is a Tube-big that sucks the stuck flood water in the house premises. The materials of

the flood sucker are all readily available in the market so the process to create the product will be

assembling the outsourced materials. The location of the Office and the factory site is at Molino-
Paliparan road Molino I, Bacoor Cavite. and we are renting the space. Tube-big is feasible to create

and feasible to be sell in the market since many Caviteño is experiencing flood in this area.

II. Market Feasibility

The objective market feasibility of Tube-big are to analyze the current market, target market, the

competitors, and to create marketing strategies and marketing plan. To gather data, we provided

survey questionnaires that was distributed inside SM City Bacoor. The survey shows a demand of

40% for people that are very likely to buy the product, 60% that they will somehow buy the

product. Our Manual Flood sucker has a 50% share in the market. The target market will be the

people of the low-lying areas of Cavite especially Bacoor since it is one of the largest population

city in Cavite.

III. Management and Organization Feasibility

The objectives of the management concerns about thinking and utilizing human, materials and

financial resources in such a manner that would result in best combination. The management also

strives to create a quality product with a least possible resource. The management create an

environment-friendly workplace and wok process as we prioritize the business’ social

responsibility. Management of workers in the company is also maintained in a healthy manner for

the company and workers’ welfare.

IV. Financial Feasibility

The capital contribution of each partner will be 125,000.00 Pesos. For the 5-year plan, the management
is not expecting any loss. For 5 years we have an average net income of 4,599,882.87 PHP.
V. Socio-economic Impact

The tube-big will give a positive impact in the society since the primary purpose of the product is

to help the people in the low-lying area to remove the flood water that is stuck. The product will

also give an impact in the economy as it may be become an exported product to the countries

which also experiencing floods. In this, it can affect the percentage of the GDP of the country by

increasing it.

2. Introduction and Background of the Study

A. Brief Description of the Industry

The industry of our product Tube-Big is a manufacturing Industry. In the manufacturing industry

in the Philippines, they have a flood sucker that is used by the Bureau of Fire Protection. This flood

sucker is a heavy duty one that sucks flood of the streets. This flood sucker also requires electricity

to enable the use of the flood sucker. The tube-big will be the handy version of this flood sucker

that will be convenient to use for every household in times of calamity.

B. Company Profile

The Tube-Big is a partnership between Lloyd Emver Alcantara, Queenie Grace Acanto, Jamelyn

Natanuan and John Mark Teves. The partnership is established at Molino-Paliparan road Molino

I, Bacoor Cavite on January 1, 2019. The main and only product of the company is Tube-Big which

is a manual flood sucker. Tube-big aims to provide an advanced way to help the Filipino household

in the low-lying areas that experiencing floods.

C. Background of the Study


Cavite is near in the Metro Manila which is always the basin of the near provinces. That is why

most of the areas in Cavite also experienced floods especially the low part of the Cavite which is

Ternate, Bacoor, Kawit, Imus, etc. Since not all household can afford to buy the heavy-duty flood

sucker, this is the reason why Tube-big created a manual flood sucker that is affordable,

convenient, and helpful in times of calamities.

D. Objective of the Study

 Determine the problems of every household regarding floods and how the tube-big will be a

solution for the product

 Identify the impact of Tube-big in society and economy of the country.

 Determine the area of target maket of Tube-big.

 Identify techniques to provide a harmonious yet effective and efficient way to manage the

business and its workers.

E. Operational Definition of terms

The data that was gathered from the survey questionnaires used a Likert Scale which includes 9

questions with a last question that asks for improvement. We collected 50 valid questionnaires

that all agreed to buy the flood sucker. This result is used for the demand of the product in the

Marketing Feasibility.

G. Scope and Limitation of Study

This study focuses on developing the manual flood sucker which is the Tube-big and how it will be

feasible to sell on the low-lying area of Cavite. The limitation of the study was the area of the

target market since we only considered Cavite as our only area where we can collect data and sell
the product. The scope of the study for Tube-Big was the people of low-lying areas in Cavite not

considering any ages.
