INTRODUCTION
In the past where manual entry was the only way to keep a record of information.it was very dificult to
find backup or difficult to store these records.Since emergence of electronic computer and processing of
information has been very easy. Data can be now storewd in computerin considerable low space and
within a short period of time compared with amanual method.

BANQUET HALL BOOKING SYSTEM is a Window based project which act as a bridge between potential
banquet users and banquet owners.Banquet booking system provides complete listing of banquets in
different cities. The project is designed to provide comprehensive mechanism of Banquet hall booking
for general users.we have complete listing of banquets . the user just need to register themselves, then
the user can search and book the banquet for thie choice of date according to their preferences.it deals
with the operation of the banquet booking,how exactly the system works and who are all involoved in
the system. General users can get information about banquets, status of booking ,etc.

OBJECTIVES OF THE SYSTEM

The main objective of the entire activity is to automate and to manage the process of hall
booking like:

To provide the information regarding banquets.

To provide the information about the booking of users choice.

To provide the functionality of booking and cancelation.

To provide theinfromation ofr status of catering facilities available.

To provide the facility to maintain the records of users

The system will save the time of users

PURPOSE, SCOPE
The aim of the project is to design a hall booking system with automation system . The system should
be as flexible as possible so that it can be used for different properties of the hall.

The mission of the project is to facilitate easy management and administration of a hall with capabalities
to do booking ,cancellation,creating of new records , etc.using computerized system. one can keep
detailed record of an unlimited amount of customers .The system lets the user know which all halls are
available at any point of time. This makes the booking considerably faster . the scope of the project is to
develop customize software package for reducing the manual problem.

STRUCTURE OF THE PROJECT

The banquet hall booking deals with the information system for banquets booking.the project explains
about the booking of banquet halls from a short to compolete combination of activities including
meetings, confrences, marriage,etc. the project is divided into different modules

Search

B} users
Banquet details: Once the user clicks on this module the person will be able to know the banquet details
along with its mode of services, the person can also know these bestr services by his past records

Login module: the user needs to login by filling required details to use its facilities.

Cancelation module: incase user needs to cancel his or her reservation they can do so.

Feedback: this module keeps track of all the feedbacks given by the users for future records.

Service details : on this module the user will be informed about the detailed services the hall has . this
propject handels various devices bookings sucvh as Audio system, lightning ,food ,etc.
