Your REFLEX Borehole Survey System
and your REFLEX Genuine Parts are
covered by this Worldwide Warranty of
Material and Workmanship issued by
REFLEX INSTRUMENTS 5 Pitino Court
OSBORNE PARK WA 6017, Australia.
The warranty covers defects in REFLEX
products and REFLEX parts caused by
faulty design, faulty material, or poor
workmanship. It covers only those
defects that appear within the Warranty
period. This is 12 (twelve) months from
the date on which the product or part is
delivered to the first user. If the product
or part is used more intensively than 8
(eight) hours per day, the Warranty
Period is reduced in the same
proportion. This Worldwide Warranty is
only valid if the REFLEX product or part
is used solely for the purpose for which it
is designed, and is operated and
serviced in accordance with the
Reference Guide for the product or part.
The Warranty covers the remedying of
any accepted warranty defect by
qualified service staff authorised by
REFLEX INSTRUMENTS. It also covers
the cost of parts and labour needed to
replace or repair a defective item. It does
not cover the cost of and insurance for
transport, postage, or freight of the
defective item(s) to your REFLEX
Support Centre. The Warranty does not
cover any costs for the return to you of
repaired or replaced item(s) by REFLEX
or your Reflex Support Centre. All such
transport and insurance costs are the
responsibility of the person or
organisation making the Warranty Claim.
The Warranty does not cover the
travelling expenses and daily
subsistence allowances of REFLEX
authorised staff who may make repairs
or replacements at your premises or
work. The Warranty does not cover
proprietary items supplied with the
REFLEX product, such as batteries,
CCD’s, the handheld field computer etc.
For these proprietary items the original
Manufacturer’s Warranty applies. If you
wish to make a claim within the terms of
this REFLEX INSTRUMENTS Worldwide
Warranty, please write to your Reflex
Support Centre within eight (8) days from
the date of failure or defect. Please give
REFLEX authorised staff every facility for
inspecting and remedying the claimed
defect or failure. REFLEX liability under
the terms of this warranty, does not
extend to or cover claims in respect of
personal injury, or damage to property,
or loss of profit, or any other
consequential damage. All deliveries of
REFLEX products are made in
accordance with the General Conditions
for the supply of plant and machinery for
export, prepared under the auspices of
the United Nations Economic
Commission for Europe, Geneva,
December 1953. In the event of any
dispute or disagreement in respect of the
Worldwide Warranty, the General
Conditions are to apply. Please return
the Warranty Registration slip, duly
filled in, to the Reflex head quarters in
Australia, to ensure you are correctly
listed for the full terms of this warranty
and any other REFLEX services
available to registered end-users.
