ON-THE-JOB TRAINING PLAN

Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering

Trainee : Panaligan, Angelica R.

Level : Fifth Year level

Specialization : Electronics Engineering

Training Schedule : Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)

Duration : 500 Hours (AY 2019-2020, First Semester)

Program Educational Objectives:

The BS Electronics Engineering graduates after three to five years from graduation shall:

1. Practice as successful Electronics Engineers.


2. Promote professionalism in engineering practice.
3. Contribute to the welfare of the society.

Student Outcomes:

Out of the twelve (12) student outcomes, four (4) student outcomes may be achieved through
the completion of this course:

d. Ability to function on multidisciplinary terms;

f. Understanding of professional and ethical responsibility;

g. Ability to communicate effectively; and

i. Recognition of the need and an ability to engage in life-long learning.

General Objectives:

The student is obliged to finish the 500 hours On-The-Job Training or as prescribed by the
curriculum; by complying with specification provided in the Training Guide provided either by the
cooperating or host industry or employer, or the University. The Training Guide shall include the activities
and the schedule of which for the whole duration of the training.

Specific Objectives:

At the end of the training period, it is anticipated that:

1. The trainees have applied in the host industry the academic theories and work values acquired
from the academe,
2. The trainees have fully accomplished the requirements of their training program as instructed by
the school and the cooperating industry,
3. The trainees have increased their knowledge in the field of specialization with the help of the
cooperating industry,
4. The trainees were exposed to majority, if not all suggested training targets specified in the In-
Plant Training Guide written below,
5. The trainees have acquired sufficient expose to the actual work environment.

MAJOR SUBJECTS IN-PLANT TRAINING GUIDE


A. Digital Communications Monitoring the capacity and working lines per
network technology.
B. Elective 1, 2 & 3 Network development plan.
C. Elective 1 & 2 Cable testing or vertical jumpering.
D. Elective 2 & 3 Routing and switching.

Note:

1. In-Plan Training Guide are broad area of learning exposures that the cooperating industry may
refer to.
2. The degree of exposure given to the trainees depends on the discretion and judgement of the
cooperation industry. The assurance that the training will gain the appropriate actual-work
experience is what the University is concerned of.
3. Any other training that the industry may offer is welcome and well appreciated.
