If compared to the past, the role taken by the teacher have changed significantly.

During my
time, we depend on teacher to learn anything. If you don’t have a teacher with you, you are
dead. You will never find your way out when facing problem. But today, the role of a teacher
is no longer the gatekeeper of all knowledge. The role of a teacher has switched to guide, to
assist the student whenever they need help. But as a student, are you ready to help yourself.
The responsibility for learning and succeeding is in your hand. I’m always here to help you,
but you have got to take the lead.
