ANITS IIC LOGO Contest Guidelines and Official Rules

Eligibility:

 To be eligible, each participant must be a currently registered undergraduate student in

ANITS campus.

 Individuals may submit no more than two entries (a separate Entry Form must

 accompany each submission).

 The logo MUST be the original work of the submitter.

 There are no restrictions in the number of colors used.

 The logo may be created using pencils, crayons, markers, and paint. Also, the logo may be
created with a computer drawing program, but of course, all images must be original.

 The logo should be simple, not be complicated or confusing, and all elements must be
discernible when reproduced in smaller sizes.

Submission Format:
Designs must be submitted in any of the following formats: .jpg, .tiff, or .pdf (if a hard-copy
design sketch is submitted, it must be scanned or otherwise rendered into one of the above
computer formats and submitted). Images can be larger than, but must be no smaller than,
three inches by three inches (3” x 3”).

A brief description or rationale (not more than 500 words) explaining the components of the
logo should also be included in the entry.

Selection Criteria& Right to USE:

Relevance – Does the entry align with the theme and goals of the UC Global Food Initiative?

Originality – Does the composition exhibit original design, creativity, and imagination? 

Aesthetic Quality– Does the submission command attention? Does it display visual balance
and color coordination? Do all the elements work together to create a unified and appealing
design?

All entries considered as winners for the contest shall be considered as property of, and maybe
used by the ANITS IIC.

The ANITS IIC Office shall also have exclusive rights to the winning logo design; publish it on
its websites, and in other media and corporate materials such as letterheads and envelopes.

The ANITS IIC office reserves the right to further refine or make improvements and alterations
on the final artwork of the winning entry.

warrants that s/he has read and agrees to be bound by the contest’s official rules. Each
participant further understands that if her/his logo design is selected as the winner, s/he will
relinquish all claims, rights (including any moral rights), and benefits related to the display,
modification, reproduction, publication, distribution, use.
