Qualifications of participants

1. Open to all.
2. The contest duration is from June 13 to July 11, 2021.

Mechanics
1. A brief rationale and a description of the elements used and what they stand for should be
included in the entry.
2. The elements and colors of the logo must embody the LGBTQIA+ community ( Red, Orange,
Yellow, Green, Blue, and Violet) and Claveria (Blue, Yellow, Black, White and Red).
3. The logo shall include the name Balugtu Ta Claveria.
4. The design of the logo should be aligned with the organizations Core Values:
Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Excellence.
5. The logo design must be adaptable for use in both print and electronic media.
6. The submitted entry should be an original work. The logo design must not be similar to other
existing logo’s.
7. The submitted entry must not include, based on or derived from any pre-existing or third-
party designs, trademarks or copyrighted images. Violation is subject to disqualification. Any
complaints that may arise due to similarities, likeness or comparison of the design would be
the accountability of the participant as he/she would be responsible to proving it.
8. The BTC shall also have exclusive rights to the winning logo design; publish it on social
media accounts and corporate materials such as letterheads and envelopes. The BTC
organization reserves the right to further refine or make improvements and alterations on the
final artwork of the winning entry.

Submission
Submit the file in the following formats:
1. Flat pdf format, minimum size 12cm x 12cm, minimum resolution 300dpi
2. Original raw file. Filename is your name and artwork title (juandelacruz_logo.pdf).
3. Entries should be submitted through email balugtuclaveria21@gmail.com with the
designer’s name, age, address and contact information. Subject should be (BTC Logo
Making Competition).
4. All entries must be received no later than July 11, 2021

Selection Process
1. The logo will be judged by the officials in the Balugtu Ta Claveria.
2. Top 5 will be posted on the BTC Facebook page for public voting (15% of the criteria).
3. One winner shall be chosen and shall receive a certificate and PHP 5,000.00 cash prize.
4. Winning design must be ready to submit PSD or Photoshop files.

College Logo Competition. As per our guidelines, the public voting will constitute the remaining
15% of the overall score.

RULES & MECHANICS FOR THE PUBLIC VOTING:
1. CLICK the picture of the ENTRY that you want to vote and hit "HEART" or "LIKE" button.
(Rationale of the entry is also indicated in each photo.)
3. For valid votes, please make sure that you like the page first.
4. Online voting will START today April 19 until APRIL 22 • 6PM MANILA TIME
5. ONLY HEARTS AND LIKES REACTS will be counted.
6. Votes made by "Fake & Dummy Accounts" will not be counted as a valid vote.
